“My wife and I visited Shelby for the first time. We just recently moved to NC. We Googled restaurants in inthe area and found Toscanos, and thought we'd give it a try. When we entered, the restaurant is inviting with tables and very large booths, and jazz playing overhead. My wife and I were seated at a table. She ordered a glass of wine, and me the designated driver, an ice tea.

The menu has plenty of choices, and there are also chalk board selections as you enter the restaurant.

My wife ordered a combination pasta (spaghetti ) with sausage, peppers, and mushrooms with a red sauce.
I had the chicken pasta with a creamy garlic sauce, spinach and sun dried tomatoes.
Because we were hungry, we also ordered an artichoke dip and we wanted to sample the soup of the day, " Lasagna Soup."

Our entrees both came with a very generous salad and garlic bread. Had we known any better, we probably would have skipped the other items, because this was plenty of food.

Everything we ordered was very good. The salads, soup, artichoke dip, garlic bread, and especially our pasta dishes.

I believe our server was Taylor, and she was very kind and attentive, as well as the gentleman that was busing the tables.
We enjoyed our meal, and we'll definitely return to try other menu items.”
