My friends and I came here for a bachelorette weekend in December, and we had the best time! The wine tasting was fantastic, and we loved meeting Jeff (the owner) and Kara who took great care of us. I highly recommend visiting Addison Farms Vineyard!
My sister and I went here and booked the tour along with the tasting. The personal interest that was shown to us by every staff member was rare and impressive. It’s a kind of customer service that is hard to find nowadays but so premium that it sets this winery apart from others. We loved hearing stories from Jeff of the hard work that the entire family has put into making this winery come to life, (even down to his wife making the graphic designs for the labels of their bottles). It’s so refreshing seeing a family band together and support each other in making their dreams a reality. We also exchanged personal stories of travel & food. During the tastings, Kara explained about the different types of grapes and the way that the vines had to be grown and taken care of to produce each bottle of wine. The wines were so good: nice, light, and unique. Jordan patiently explained the process of taking care of the wines once they were in barrels. The winery itself is beautiful with a fireplace to warm up by while enjoying a nice cup of wine. All in all, I couldn’t recommend visiting this winery more. It’s definitely worth taking a trip to.
Fantastic experience. Perfect ambiance, great food and wine. 100% recommend to anyone in the area or anyone looking for a relaxing time.
Fantastic wine(and even better Mead) with a great view. Nice place to spend an afternoon.
Very nice
10/10, 100% recommend. We had such a lovely visit at Addison Farms Vineyard. We showed up for a tasting which included 4 of their wines starting with a sparkling, then a red wine, a Cabernet Franc, and ending with a white. Everything was delicious so of course we took some to go. Before we left we asked if we could roam a bit, so we got to enjoy the views and see the property, with a drink in hand. While we were admiring the land, the owner Jeff, came around and we were able to speak with him about the property a bit. It was such a special treat and really added to the experience.
We visited Addison Farms on our honeymoon, and due to our own mistake, we ended up arriving an hour before the tour but we were still welcomed so warmly. We took advantage of that time to snap some photos of the breathtaking scenery. We did the tasting and it was simply AMAZING. Kara took such wonderful care of us, so attentive and kind. She’s perfect! The wine is the best we’ve ever had, and the place itself is beautiful and enchanting. We’ll carry this experience in our hearts forever and will definitely be back many more times!
Word of caution if booking a tasting online- they already include a 15% gratuity. They ask for an additional gratuity at checkout (but don’t tell you it’s in ADDITION to what they’re already charging you). We accidentally tipped 33% for a 45 min wine tasting. The bartender wasn’t even with us the whole time. She went back and forth between us and the main bar… she was nice and knowledgeable but didn’t warrant a 33% tip. This is an extremely sneaky and poor customer service strategy. I understand including the 15% upfront, but asking to add more on later (and not saying it’s an additional amount) is not okay. If at the end of a tasting I think the bartender went above and beyond or did an exceptional job, I will add more. But I don’t appreciate being tricked into paying more.
Wine itself was okay, but nothing to write home about. Some of it felt like it had spoiled but apparently that’s just how it’s supposed to taste? The dogs they had there were covered in fleas and ticks- I do not recommend bringing your own dog, even though the facility is pet friendly.
Beautiful Spot. We enjoyed touring the facility and the view. It’s not for the sommelier types. It’s just possible to produce top quality wines in this climate and soil…. Go for the view and other great little farms in the area.
If you haven't made this apart of you or your group's itinerary you are missing out! One of the most beautiful vineyards in western NC. Locally owned and operated!

This is a beautiful place. The view is gorgeous, the staff are very friendly, and the wine is delicious. Let's support our local talent.
$19 wine tasting for about 2 oz of wine. Stick with the glasses.
This was a wonderful way to spend a few hours. We sat on the porch with wine and some snacks from the wnc farmer’s market in Asheville, and then enjoyed a tasting with Michelle. She was delightful. She answered all of our questions about the property and the town, really connecting our experience to her and the family.
Family owned, very kind staff and owners. A must if you’re ever in the area!
We visited on a bachelorette weekend and had such a great time — The views and wine were amazing and we got to talk with the owner Jeff and he was a fantastic company!
