Everything they’ve made is delicious! I love the flavor combinations. I cannot recommend them enough!! My latest scrumptious treat…Pink Paradise Grapefruit Cheesecake! It was mouthwatering!!!!“

“My husband and I love Mattie Lou’s! Everyone there is incredibly kind and welcoming. The biggest problem I have is not buying one of each item. My husband loves the peanut butter cookies and the biscuits. Her ham and cheese croissants are the best I’ve ever had. I also love the brown sugar lattes. “I ordered a cake for my Daughter’s birthday that was gluten, egg and nut free and it was absolutely delicious. My daughter we so excited to finally get to eat a real birthday cake. It made the day extra special. Most of the other bakeries I spoke with couldn’t accommodate making a cake with substitutes within the timeline I was hoping but Shawn was able to help make this happen. We can’t wait to come back and try her other treats!“

“Best bread and cinnamon rolls! Bought them at the Leicester tailgate market. Practically ate the cinnamon rolls on the way home. The bread with seeds has the best texture and the flavor is excellent with an entree, soup, salad, or sandwich. The bread has a wonderful crust and beautiful inside texture. One slice is not enough. The loaf was so delicious I found myself just having a slice as a snack with a great olive oil. I spent most of my market money on Susi bread and was happy I did. Today was tailgate market Wednesday in Leicester and a thunderstorm was the weather. Nevertheless, I was late and practically cried to note Susi Bread like others wrapped up early. I am now googling their other locations and am determined to find those cinnamon rolls and delicious bread.“

The cookies come in 2 sizes mini and Giant and let me tell you the mini cookies are anything but mini and the giant cookies are definitely Giant, so your definitely getting your money's worth. “Recently went to Asheville for a long weekend vacation. We had our breakfast at Owl every single morning! All of the baked goods, sweet and savory, rival anything found anywhere. Delicious lattes are served by the most charming staff! I would drive back to Asheville just to visit this beautiful bakery.“

“My husband and I along with our son stopped here to check out the pastries as I love anything sweet. There was a short line but it moved quickly. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. A very pleasant young man took our order. One of the locals standing beside us in line recommended the mountain eclair so we did order one along with a variety of cheesecake, cookies and a couple of pies. We waited just a few minutes for our order to be packed up. The inside is very charming with lots of wood and marble. I liked the open display case, so that we could see all of the pastries. Every single item we ate was delicious, and I would definitely recommend visiting this bakery anytime you’re near Asheville or the surrounding towns. The bakery is very clean, the staff is very nice and seem to work well together, and all of the food we had was excellent! 10/10!!“

“I heard about Biscuit Head about a month ago, through a Facebook ad. We were in Asheville to visit Biltmore after Christmas,and visited Biscuit Head on Biltmore Ave twice in two days! The whole staff was so friendly, and the vibe in the restaurant is so fun!! Everything we had both days was fantastic! I ordered the Mimosa fried chicken biscuit both days, and the biscuit donuts, as well! I had to keep apologizing to my family because I was making too many “yum” noises. My husband said the sausage gravy was the best he’s had in ever, and your coffee was great!! When we left yesterday, we genuinely intended to come back for Brunch #3, but the moods were not in our favor today. We look forward to coming back next time we are in Asheville!!“
