“We loooove this coffee shop. The coffee flavors are delicious and the pastries are wonderful. If you're lucky to pop in when they have fresh empanadas, they are fantastic. The staff is super generous and we enjoyed stopping in often during our visit.“
“Hollie, with Sweet Monkey, provided the catering for our wedding this passed weekend. We can’t say enough good things about working with her! Hollie was wonderful at communicating back and forth and putting together a menu for the wedding that was absolutely perfect! She provided us with items for cocktail hour, and while guests were raving about the dip she made, seeing firsthand the joy on a friends face with her cheese sauce said more than words could. Dinner was a perfect taco bar and accompanying sides. All that, plus she was so extremely professional and kind both before and during the wedding. “It's a bit expensive, but there can be no denying that they're baked goods are fabulous and they have good coffee. They do offer a variety of savory dishes, but I have rarely tried them. The ones that I have tried have been very good. Service is polite and professional. I honestly can't think of any complaints. If I remember correctly I went with someone who's extremely Gluten Sensitive and they had lots of options for him. I do wish they had slightly more comfortable seating, but it's a very minor complaint.Dietary restrictions: They have quite a number of gluten-free items.“

“For Thanksgiving I was distraught, trying to figure out who I could purchase cakes from so we wouldn't have to do all that cooking. I lucked up upon Cakes By Jane and oh my God!! I have probably tried about 5 to 6 different flavors and have simply loved everyone of them. I used to be a baker and loved baking poundcakes and I do know a few things about a great poundcake. They have some of the most delicious pancakes. I've tasted in a long long time. We have been feasting on their cakes since Thanksgiving. I don't think I could ever enjoy anyone else's poundcakes again. Love them love them love them five stars all day long!“
“I can’t begin to explain how amazing this place is! Food was PHENOMENAL! We had the Meatloaf and Mashed Potatoes, the Zadie Bird with French Fries, and the Grilled Cheese with Mac & Cheese. The meatloaf is a seasonal item - it was very tender and tasty! The Zadie Bird had just the right kick to it, and was fantastic! Our kids had the grilled cheese with the bacon-onion jam and they could not get enough. Donna Ray and Soren were amazing in helping us with food and drink recommendations.The restaurant, bar and hotel are in a building which was the old jail house in town. Highly recommend a visit next time you are in town!“
