I understand and appreciate that there are only a few places to eat in Leicester. This place is the best of the worst. Perhaps my skin color has something to do with the reason I have been unable to get a takeout order —one meal—in less than 30 minutes. A whitefish platter, where the fries were obviously cooked in the same dirty oil as the fish. No tartar sauce, no ketchup, no utensils, no napkins. This is the best place in town. All the staff are friendly and the food is amazing. I have heard that the food is a bit pricier than some diners… but honestly what isn’t pricey anymore. And I would rather pay higher prices for good food and great service and that’s exactly what you get. Thanks Salty Goat for serving us Leicester folk. :)
