I understand and appreciate that there are only a few places to eat in Leicester. This place is the best of the worst. Perhaps my skin color has something to do with the reason I have been unable to get a takeout order —one meal—in less than 30 minutes. A whitefish platter, where the fries were obviously cooked in the same dirty oil as the fish. No tartar sauce, no ketchup, no utensils, no napkins. This did not happen just once, but will not happen again. No more Salty Goat Grill for me. I wish you readers much better luck.

This is the best place in town. All the staff are friendly and the food is amazing. I have heard that the food is a bit pricier than some diners… but honestly what isn’t pricey anymore. And I would rather pay higher prices for good food and great service and that’s exactly what you get. Thanks Salty Goat for serving us Leicester folk. :)

Food is nothing to write home about, didn’t like the biscuits and gravy and the biscuits were burnt, too hard to break apart. The waitress only refilled our coffee when after she brought our food out and never again, might as well go to Waffle House at least the biscuits and gravy are good and they keep my coffee filled

This is 5 minutes down the road from me and now my new favorite spot. The waitress was so sweet and the food was exactly what you want for a satisfying breakfast! I had an egg bacon pepper jack on rye with home fries .. *chefs kiss* My neighbor was like you HAVE TO GO..they now have a joke with me “don’t judge a restaurant by its spokes animal” LOL I am now a salty goat lover I’ll admit! Amazing local business PLEASE SUPPORT THEM!!!

This place has the BEST FISH & CHIPS I've ever had, and I'm no young'in, so that's saying a lot!! The garden salad served with the meal was also fantastic. The service was warm and efficient. Nothing could have been better. Perfection, basically. Well done, Salty Goat!!

Very friendly staff! The food is phenomenal and all cooked fresh. My husband got the bacon cheeseburger and sweet potato fries, and I got the sassy chicken and fries. Our kids devoured their kid’s spaghetti and grilled cheese. The burger and chicken sandwich were primal phenomenal, and I’m pretty sure I’ll be dreaming about the peach habanero sauce!
