The food was delicious in the service was excellent
Snow crap legs over cooked, went to snap the legs and they just bent over and had to dig most of the meat out of the shells. Butter to dip the meat of the legs tasted foul, got another butter but was just as bad. Bread before the meal never came. We frequent Cape Fear Seafood Co. in Leland at least weekly sometimes more, but this was the first time things seemed to go sour. Will try again because of past good experiences.

When I'm in the Leland area I always make sure to visit Cape Fear Seafood. Everything is always absolutely fabulous. I've been here at least a dozen times and have never been disappointed with anything; not the food, not the service, nothing.
Had the catch of the day, Mahi Mahi. The Mahi was almost perfect and the brussel sprouts were very good as well. Highly recommend stopping here for dinner if you have the chance.

We love the seafood here, especially the fish tacos and their fish and chips.
Food is pretty good and the service is consistent, but sitting at the bar for dinner at the Belville/Leland location last week was unpleasant due to the gnats that seem to be taking over the bar area.
My husband and I had lunch…first time in… absolutely loved the food and our waiter, Jamie. Will definitely be back soon with our friends

My wife and i tried this place and loved it. The fried calamari was one of the best we ever had. Fried perfectly and very light....not rubbery at all. My wife got the clams strip basket with fries and slaw, and ordered a side of their stone ground cheese grits. I got the fried shrimp platter that came with fries slaw and hush puppies. We both thought the seafood was breaded nicely and cooked exactly right. She loved the grits. We both liked the slaw and the hush puppies. The only issue was with the fries. They were fresh cut potatoes, seasoned with salt and pepper, and fried golden brown and came out very hot.....but still somehow not crispy! Even after they cooled off....not crispy. It was strange but we did like the flavor Our server was a woman who was also the bartender even though we weren't at the bar and also dealing with to go orders. She was still very attentive to our table and did a great job. Definitely would recommend the seafood here.
I came in as one person and because I did not have a reservation. I was offered the bar, but I couldn’t sit down and eat. It will never ever ever come back to this place.
