What happened to your chopped BBQ today?? OMG, it was dark dark brown, looked ground up rather than chopped and tasted very dry and old. Got 2 sandwiches at takeout. Could not eat them. SO very disappointed. Didn't even taste like BBQ. We've been eating there since you opened and notice it is never consistent . Was curious why the weekend supper crowd was light. Perhaps others are seeing this too. It started off great when you opened. What's going on?

We ate there for the first time the other night and it was so good . My husband had the BBQ chicken and it was so moist and juicy ! I had the BBQ sandwich and I loved it , it also was moist and juicy . The hush puppies were the best I’ve ever eaten . I highly recommend the little Cafe 71 . I hope it’s around for a very long time !!
Parking: We were able to park close by the front door and it was very easy fir my husband who is disabled to enter the cafe .

Ordered the bbq ribs. Meat was so tender it was falling off the bone! And of course their smoked Mac & Cheese was awesome ??.

Food is good. Service is awful. I called in an order and they said it would be ready in 15 mins. It took me 15 minutes to get there and I still waited an additional 40 minutes to get my food. It’s a shame.

Same place different name. Waited over 30 minutes for some hot dogs and fries, which were cold, and over paid for the dinner. Thought it would be different, but nah. Won't be back.

They charge .30 cents for a glass of water that they wash and reuse. If it was a Togo cup I could see paying for it. They now have to charge 3.9 percent if you use a credit card, if pay with cash, they take that charge

Service was ridiculous! Sat down…. Got our drinks and ordered. 45 min later still haven’t gotten our food. Nor had anyone around us. Everyone at our table ordered bbq. Isn’t bbq already prepared? And so did the tables around us. Bbq and hotdogs and they had been waiting just as long. But when the owner’s family members came in after us, they were somehow fed before anyone around them was. Completely unprofessional. We eventually left without ever eating and headed to the BBQ center where we sat down, ordered and finished eating all in 30 min. That is what good service is… especially in the bbq business. Now we know why the parking lot is always full.. it’s the same cars sitting there for over an hour each waiting to eat. Will never return.

I didn’t know how to feel when we walked in, there was no sign that said seat yourself or wait to be seated, and the young girl that was behind the counter was too busy on her phone to speak or help us….So we gave them the benefit of the doubt and went back a second time and service was just as horrible if not worse than the first….sat down this time and was never once greeted or spoken to ….took nearly 10 minutes for someone to acknowledge us and get our drinks. The heavyset waitress brought us menus and the second she handed them to us she asked if we were ready to order……place our order and immediately get the bill delivered…..needed refills but couldn’t even get that but she sure could go around to the other tables and check on them…..we will definitely not be back….
Great BBQ and sides; reasonable price, too. Better than Rick's.

DO NOT RECOMMEND . They took our order after 5 minutes of us being there. We sat in our car and the waitress gave us a 25-30 minutes wait for our meal. We sat and waited and it ended up being over an hour before we said anything considering it was busy. They said they hadn’t even started our food and had served people who got there after us. Completely rude and talked about us as we were leaving after it being an hour.
Parking: Horrible parking and there was waiting to be parked.
