Took more than 15minutes to get someone to come to table to get drink order.
Was not busy!
Then another 18 minutes to get 3 cups of chocolate milk and 1 cup of ice.
We ordered and 2 orders of 3 pancakes, 2 over easy eggs with bacon and grits with toast and a waffle. Which took about 20minutes to reach our table.
The food was great except for the grits. The waffle and pancakes were so fluffy and perfect.
Our waitress never came back after she delivered the food had to ask another that was walking by for help which she did not acknowledge our request but did send original waitress back to table.
If you go get the pancakes and or waffles you will be glad you did

We stayed next door and decided to walk across the street for some local cooking. So glad that we did! Portions were huge and the flavor was amazing! Even took the hotel clerk a piece of the amazing cake that she raved about! Service was impeccable!

Cagney's is a great down home restaurant. I have ate breakfast, lunch and supper here. Everything has been delicious. The staff is friendly and efficient.

Food was okay, very small seats, felt very confined but looks good at first glance. Webl were set left at the front entrance and there was noticeable amounts of brown liquid coming down the wall and multiple dead flies on the window seal.

Before leaving I cleaned up everything and put it into a plastic bag and set up there hoping that they would clean that as well but they just left the dead insects that was not even a foot from my food and grabbed the bag. Told the lady at the front desk, she said sorry but no one still cleaned it.

Many employees were just standing around so it seems more of a laziness issue and subpar expectations. I saw the 92 food rating but this was a let down.

I also got asked for my appetizer literally the second I sat down before we opened our menu. 30 seconds after we ordered appetizers she's coming back to the table for our main plates. The mozzarella appetizer was frozen and literally has six super small sticks for over 10 bucks.

A good amount of things here are off but has potential.
