I should have read my previous reviews and the hundreds of reviews on yelp and google that all say the same thing. OK food…..sometimes but bad service EVERY time. I keep trying it because it’s the only Mexican on our side of town and we forget how bad it is. But oh it comes rushing back when you can’t get anyone to take your drink order. When they do come, they never come back. A 30-45 min stop becomes that long just to get your first drink. I could type all night about how bad it was. I could also type all night about how clueless the same manager is. I will never go back. The owners obviously do not care. How could they with year after year of bad reviews for the same thing. Service. How do you mess up Mexican food and margaritas? I hope this review makes someone reading it choose another place.

I understand this is a Mexican restaurant, but if you can’t understand our order and serve it to the correct person in a timely manner, you shouldn’t be a server.
We waited for an hour before being served incorrect plates. We asked what plate they’re trying to serve to verify whose it is and they couldn’t even tell us what it is. Half the table was done eating before the rest even got their plates, and they STILL weren’t correct. 😤
We’ve come here several times when they were busier without issues. But today was the most infuriating and frustrating experience ever.

For years this place has consistently had some of the best food in town but hands down the WORST SERVICE of any sit down restaurant in Lexington. Every time I go for years it’s the same, hoping for better service but it’s always terrible.

The food is amazing. Let me be clear we are not ones to make changes to orders, ask for a lot of things and we typically tip 25% range.
The service is overall absolutely horrible. They walk away as you ask for things, and may or may not accommodate your request. The young lady at desk is sweet and very nice, but the remaining service staff needs training on how to be courteous when interacting with guests. Every time we go the staff acts they are in a hurry and we never feel welcomed...its like we are a chore to simply place the order. They turn their backs and look around while you place your order...it's weird how dismissive they are. There are exceptions to the staffing...there are a few team members that are good. However, overall I feel like they could care less if we spend our money at their establishment. It's unfortunate because the food is really good.

I came into grab a burrito and fries. It was ok service. After I grabbedy food to go, it was a person in the kitchen sneezing all over the place. I found that to be very gross. They almost didn't get paid but my food was already packed. Next I go, I ain't go pay them shyte lol.
