Order a ACP no vegetables, go back in to tell the waiter, they messed up my order. He states that I never said no vegetables, then he goes to the back and slides the vegetables off my platter and puts it back in a smaller bowl, to make it look fuller. Knowing he should’ve made it fresh and made it the way I asked for it to be made. And kept in in the same size plate. Im not gonna eat here anymore. That’s just lazy.

We moved into town and every time I walked out of Walmart I kept smelling delicious food but didn't know where it was coming from. It was La Carreta Authentic Mexicano food. It was definitely official. Food was delicious. Will be going back for sure.

Me & my son first time. We loved the food , the service ,the environment was so peaceful . I’m going back again tonight it was so good!
Had to give 1 star no option for zero stars. The place was basically empty with only a couple tables of customers eating their food. After 20 min wait food was still not at our table. When I asked if waitress would check she got defensive and said it takes 15 mins for food to cook. 15 minutes wouldn’t have been bad if it didn’t take them 15 minutes to ask us if we wanted anything to drink. So after all this I asked to pay for our drinks so we could leave this sorry excuse for a restaurant. I would say if you want decent service go to Don Juan’s or Mi Casa.

Extremely disappointed !!!First of all I had to wait for five minutes before somebody acknowledged me only to get food to go!!! I was only there to pick up at a go order After looking at my bill, I realized , THEY CHARGE A SERVICE FEE FOR TO GO FOOD!!!!!. I will never order to go food from here again, you lost my business.!!!! When I questioned the service fee, the response I got was “oh well”I paid $2.19 for a service fee just to walk in and pick up my food. In addition the price I was charged for each item was higher than what was listed on the menu.I WILL NOT RETURN!!!!

We recently traveled through Lexington, NC and looked for a local place to eat. Since all the travelers like Mexican food, we Googled for options and found La Carrera only a couple of miles from exit 91 on I-85. We lucked out big time, and we all enjoyed our selections, from children's plates to taco salads. I selected an item I have never before seen on a Mexican restaurant menu - Peluche. However, I liked the description and ordered the steak version. Great, delicious food and preparation! Service was prompt, attentive, and friendly. Our server knew well his craft. As we travel by Lexington NC in the future, we will time our trip to visit again.
