The best meal I have had at a restaurant in Lexington is the "Special", Harvest Chicken at Rustic Roots. It is amazing. Love the sliced Brussel sprouts along with the sweet potato cubes and balsamic. It is not high on sodium, and that does not compromise the taste. Doesn’t leave you feeling bad later either. Blown away that a 19 year old young man cooked this. Great service with an old town historical atmosphere is a plus. Will definitely return for another plate.
My husband and I stopped in for lunch. There was a waiting period, gave the host my cell number and went to a nearby shop. The host called about 20 minutes later to say our table was ready. Ordered our food and was not disappointed. Will most definitely go back. Gwen P.
Great food and fast service. The BLT with fried green tomatoes was delicious. My husband had the grilled chicken club and said it was delicious also. The homemade potatoe cakes was as good as the ones my mom used to make. Will definitely go back.
