Shoto Japanese Steakhouse & Seafood

We ordered chicken with General Tso sauce and with Bourbon sauce. Both were outstanding! Sweet carrots come with the rice sides and were like dessert. Some of the best cooked carrots you will ever have! And speaking of dessert, the Apple Blossom with ice cream was a wonderful way to end the meal. It was a crowded Saturday night so service was a little slow but the food was more than worth it!!

I heard about this place on social media. And it had such great reviews. I had to try it. I got to Lexington about 630 on a Friday night and the city seems dead. I was waiting for my party and I told him I was gonna go in and get a table and I am so glad I did because just a few minutes later that place was packed. Our waitress was wonderful and very attentive. I always worry about dining with children and they made us and the kids feel special. Food was delicious. I definitely recommend and budget friendly.

Went to eat on 8/19 with my girlfriend and all seemed fine. Half way through eating I had to go to the ladies room to get sick. Ended up leaving the restaurant and my girlfriend called me to say the same happened to her on the way home. I called today to let them know and asked for the manager and very rudely she told me to call the health department and she wasn’t going to give me anything. I told her I didn’t want anything other to give them heads up that something was wrong.

Called the health dept and I am sure they will check it out suggesting to everyone not to go there to eat. I wanted to speak to the owner but a lady answered the phone. I sure the owner wouldn’t of handled it the way she dif

We had a really nice date night at Shoto! I ordered a drink from Jimmy the Bartender and it wasn’t correct. The manager corrected it & brought me another drink that was amazing! We can’t wait to return! ❤️

I eat here 1-2 times per week. I drive past 3 Japanese restaurants to get to this one. Get the sesame chicken, then you too will eat here multiple times a week.

For the price of this food, this was a joke! My wife and I got take out. First off, don't get the egg rolls! There's nothing in them! It's literally rolled up dough the size of my finger. Smh. The shrimp were tiny. Chicken was over cooked and dry. The zucchini was none existent. It was just shriveled up strings. This is NOT Japanese Hibachi! Over priced crap! I've had better Japanese at run down places for half the price of this. We didn't even finish our meals. We threw it out. Definitely won't be back!

My wife and I enjoyed our lunch today. I had beef and noodles hibachi style, and my wife had chicken with rice and vegetables teriyaki style. Both were fantastic. Try the white sauce on the salad!
