Mr. Cee's Diner is a highly recommended restaurant in Lumberton, offering excellent food and exceptional customer service. It is a great hidden gem and the best in town. The burgers are good, and the lunch and dinner plates cater to a variety of tastes, with pork chops and chicken plates that are outstanding. The Eastern North Carolina-style BBQ is delicious, with a tangy and slightly spicy vinegar-based sauce. There is a variety of sides, more choices besides fries and slaw, like baked beans and cabbage. The food is always fresh, hot and awesome. Prices are more than fair. There is no seating, take out only. Staff is polite and friendly, and you may get a shout-out greeting from Mr. Cee from the kitchen.
