Incredible space on the river. Our refuge amidst crisis. Joseph made zero hesitation in accommodating our displaced family when they too were experiencing their own sense of devastation. I cannot thank this family enough for extending their kindness in such a way. The showers are hot, water was crisp, the beds comfortable, and the space has an artistic, and retro-modern vibe. Our peace amidst the uncertain. The food is otherworldly and the breakfast included is tremendous.
Everyone is so welcoming, the environment is quaint, and food was great. Nice style of food on the menu. We had table by the window and views were great.

I just had the most delicious plate here! The vibe of this place is super cozy and everyone is welcoming. The new server Jennifer served me and she met all my needs. She recommended the BBQ Pulled Pork Mac and Cheese plate and I loved it - highly recommend do not miss out on here.

Joe and Simone have created something wonderful! The atmosphere is creatively eclectic and comfortable. The menu is diverse (black eyed peas are delicious!) so there’s surely something for anyone’s flavor sensibilities and dietary preferences. The pricing and portions are very proportionate. After dinner, drinks downstairs in the Speakeasy is a great way to round out our/your date night experience.

Nestled in the heart of Maggie Valley, HomeCraft is a delightful discovery for those seeking a memorable dining experience. The restaurant’s ambiance is cozy and inviting, making it an ideal spot to unwind and savor an evening out.
The menu is a testament to culinary excellence, with each dish crafted to perfection. The blackeyed peas, a standout favorite, are a must-try for any visitor. They’re not just good; they’re the best. The chicken sliders are nothing short of perfection, with flavors that meld together in a symphony of taste. As for the salad, it’s simply divine—a fresh, vibrant medley that tantalizes the palate.
Homecraft isn’t just about great food; it’s about the entire experience. It’s a place where every meal feels like a special occasion, and every visit leaves you planning the next. With its exceptional cuisine and warm atmosphere, HomeCraft is more than just a meal—it’s a celebration of good food and good times.

Food was amazing with the original Chef. Things seemed to have changed. I will keep trying but not up to the standard of best restaurant in maggie valley, which it was.

Update August 2023: downgrade from 5 to 1 star. A remarkable plunge I’ve never experienced. We previously loved what was the only urbane, chef driven menu that wasn’t Southern, BBQ, or smash burger in the area. No more. The service is still great. The owner wasn’t present this time and it seems there is a new ‘chef’. Even the atmosphere went from cool jazz of the Stan Getz era to horrific banjo music remakes of 90’s grunge hits. The $15 Joseph’s Old Fashioned was still delicious but lacking the requisite Luxardo cherry shown in my picture. The food was…awful.Deviled eggs of fame were replaced by a cream-cheesy smoked Gouda pimento cheese. The short rib (singular, folks) had less than two forkfuls of beef. My wife was not amused with her plate of trout either. We skipped dessert and left hungry out of fear the previously inspiring blackberry cream pie had been similarly wrecked.May 2023: Magnificent! Food was delicious, both perfectly cooked and served. Staff are awesome and the cocktails are amazing. A remarkable and distinctive dining experience.
