Fantastic food and vibe. Red drum BLT, raw oysters were excellent. Staff is so friendly and welcoming. Nice view of the inlet and charting boats. Amazing place to stop for lunch or dinner.
Food is cooked to order so you will wait just a little bit but it is worth the wait. Oysters are local and very fresh full of flavor and I think six different kinds. I could be wrong on that, maybe seven. Nonetheless they are all different and all very good.
We were staying in Manteo and most dining places were closed on Sunday and Monday. We found the blue water grill which was less than 10 minutes drive from the tranquil inn.
We had a reservation at 630pm and we were seated promptly at the most beautiful corner window with views everywhere. The server, Percy, was exceptional. She made the experience from a 7 to 9. Absolutely understood what we wanted and delivered!!!
