Pizza was not even equivalent to a frozen pizza. Dough was raw tasting, floppy and bland. Maybe the cooks do not know how to use the state of the art ovens? Server was overwhelmed, only one server for the entire restaurant. Did not receive refills or visited at all once our order was taken (besides bringing the check) food was brought out by a runner which is fine but it would have been nice to have seen our waiter again though to his credit, things were unorganized and chaotic,...read full review
Highly recommend. We had a pizza and smashburger. The food was excellent as well as the atmosphere. Shannon our waitress was excellent and went above and beyond. We will definitely be back soon!
Delicious pizza, great beers, excellent atmosphere and service. They offer vegan and gluten free options too!

Firetender is a gem worth trying! The smash burger with pickles is delicious, featuring a perfect meat to pickle ratio and a “special” sauce that many have come to love. The Caesar salad has the perfect amount of dressing, and the Figgy Piggy Pie is good but unexpectedly spicy. The Chicken Parm served over fettuccine Alfredo has been noted as perfection. Service may be slow at times due to limited staff, but the fantastic food makes up for it. The oysters, salad, and pizza suggested by the bartender are top-notch. The mushroom pizza and the Bavarian pretzel, along with Arancini made with pimento cheese, have also impressed guests. Don't miss out on the IPA, one of the best around, along with Weeping Radish beers, brussel sprouts, wings, and the adult banana split. The atmosphere is unique to the OBX/Manteo area, and the fun outside sitting area will be fabulous in the warmer months. All the tables filled on a Friday in March, so it is recommended to come early in the summer. Give this place a try for a great dining experience!
