Farmhouse Diner Reviews
The owner of our Airbnb recommended coming here for the AYCE crab and we are so glad she did. We both agreed it was the best crab that we've ever had. Its cooked perfectly. And they don't skimp, they truly will serve you all you can eat. The coleslaw, potato salad and hushpuppies are all really good too, and they give you small servings of all three which we thought was nice. They weren't trying to fill us up on other things. The Farmhouse Diner is a charming restaurant located in a rural area, offering home-cooked food and friendly service. The fries are generously portioned, and the burgers are delicious, topped with large tomato slices. Customers have praised the well-prepared meat in the burgers and the great service. The restaurant is spotlessly clean and has both indoor and outdoor seating areas, providing a relaxing atmosphere.
The owner of the Airbnb recommended the all-you-can-eat crab, which customers described as the best they've ever had, perfectly cooked without skimping. The coleslaw, potato salad, and hushpuppies are also highly praised, with small servings of each. The interior is cute, and reservations are recommended due to the small size. The server was friendly and attentive, asking if more crab was needed at the right time. Customers also enjoyed the coconut cake to take home.
The prime rib special was a nice portion, though it came a bit more cooked than requested. The corn dip appetizer was large enough for four, and the house salad was very good and substantial. The restaurant does not serve alcohol, but customers can bring their own. The service was very good, and reservations are a must due to the restaurant's small size.
