The older waitress was so rude. Refused to give me creamer for my coffee, walked by me numerous times without acknowledging me trying to get her attention. Waited 6 minutes after asking and finally left after my coffee got cold. I did call to let them know why I left and she hung up on me. The local gentleman that struck up a conversation with me was very nice though...

My wife and I moved into our new home only a year and a half ago. We live only about five or six miles from the cafe. We only recently learned about it and tried it just a few days ago. Folks...you need to make the trip! The staff are warm and endearing. The food is all fresh, home style and plentiful! The place appears small but step inside and it's roomy and clean! We loved it and plan to go back often. You owe it to yourself to come and enjoy!

My ol man and I stopped at this lil out of the way restaurant on our way home from GA. We pulled in and said well it's gonna be a gem or dive. Let me tell you it was a GEM. As soon as we walked in the sweetest young woman greeted us all smiles, made me feel like she actually liked being there. He got the turkey club with fries. I got hamburger w/chz no onion with onion rings. I know I know no onion but got onion rings I don't like raw onions. The Orings were phenomenal, like I'm 44 and they were the best I've ever had period. The burger was cook perfectly club was a hit to he was jealous he didn't order the Orings also. There was a veteran in the cook or owner not sure but his apron said Col. Bob came out from the back to thank the man for his service. CB was also in the service they talked back and forth about what each other did I was blown away by the to men in front of me and what they did for this country. We paid and went to car, CB was out side he stood and talked to us for a few it was a really nice family type atmosphere and it made me feel like I was at homestyle place. With EXCELLENT food.

Stopped here on a drive from WV to GA. The food was real food, a great break from typical road trip fare. I had a tasty Reuben and my wife had a hot dog with delicious toppings. Unfortunately, our battery ended up dying while we were in the restaurant (we left the AC on for the dogs…!). We could have been up the creek, but to top off the service and atmosphere, George at the cafe helped jump us and get us back on the road. A good restaurant with kind staff. Thank yall so much! We’ll be back next time we take 26.
