~Beautiful atmosphere! Love the pretzels and German Biergarten combined. Lots of outside seating and ping pong inside. ( I especially like the stuffed pretzels or pretzel sandwich).! So good! !!
I love playing the old banjo they have there and am considering getting one. Usually a musical community gathering of some kind happening and easy parking ~
~These guys made a huge difference with food relief over the hurricane! Thank you!

I made a special trip to try this place. I have always really enjoyed soft pretzels. I was stationed in Germany and the WaWa gas stations sell the fresh soft pretzels I grew up with from Philadelphia. I was underwhelmed. My pretzel was dry and hard. Heated in a microwave in front of me after I paid a whopping $8! for the dry pretzel alone. I asked for mustard. It was good but the portion was very small. The pretzel wasn’t jumbo. The craftsmanship to the pretzel lacked, it was thin in parts and thicker. Not consistent. I could see into the kitchen. I don’t think I could see a bowl stand mixer, ovens, anything that would indicate a pro was at the controls. The decor wasn’t worth talking about. I have genuinely made better pretzels at home. My visit was to determine if this was a viable option for a commercial account, but it’s far from something where I can depend on quality and consistency. I wish them the best of luck. Not worth it.

This place is magical!!!!!
Besides the BEST PRETZEL , they did and keep doing so much to help those who needed a good meal during the difficult times of the hurricane Helene….
They have concerts Thursday evening, ping pong tables and it is the most friendly place you can imagine.
My family loves the place and I highly recommend it

Pretzels taste like made in Germany! I just got takeout because I wanted to try it. The beer cheese wasn’t for me. It had a very strong flavor. This little place serves beer and has live music in Wednesday’s. I’ll definitely be back!

These are some great tasting authentic German pretzels! Delicious with the dipping sauces, and a nice selection of wine and beer! On FRIDAY NIGHTS you can catch Max Chain (the creator of Rootball) playing live original music with Matt Malles on bass guitar. One of Asheville‘s most talented songwriters, Max will mellow you out and also get funky! It may be the best kept secret around– so don’t tell anybody. We really enjoyed the music, the intimacy, and the atmosphere!

Food, service and atmosphere fantastic.
Fun little pretzel bakery. They're a nice bunch of people who hosted the World Central Kitchen after the floods. The pretzels are great! Eat 'em fresh or take home with heating instructions and a bag of pretzel salt!
Blunt pretzels is the best. Perfect pretzels, great beer selection. A bedrock for Swannanoa.
