We found this after staying at a nearby Airbnb. The staff was very welcoming and shared suggestions on what we might enjoy. We ordered a cinnamon dulce coffee - it was delicious and well balanced in flavors. We also ordered a few scones - they are the best scones we have ever had. The butterscotch flavor was our favorite. Also had a bacon egg cheese croissant and it was incredible. 10/10 and we will definitely be back when we’re in the area.
We hope everyone is ok at Moments after hurricane Helene brought such devastation. I see you are temporarily closed so you must have suffered damage and I know Swannanoa was hit especially hard. We love visiting your place, the delicious food and friendly kind hospitality.

Moments Coffee Bar & Eatery is a quaint little coffee place in Swannanoa that serves delicious paninis and great coffee. The staff is kind and friendly, providing top-notch service. This hidden gem is a great find, especially for those traveling between Black Mountain and Asheville. Guests can enjoy a variety of scones, including the renowned Blueberry Lemon, which is widely praised, as well as chocolate toffee, blackberry lavender, and raspberry rose. The blackened chicken panini is one of the best sandwiches ever, while the croissant scramble sandwich is soft and gooey with a super yummy texture. The oat milk latte is creamy and the specialty lattes are delicious. It's super homey and chill inside, with lots of different areas to sit and chat or study. The atmosphere is inviting, making it a super cool spot to relax and enjoy a drink or meal.
