“I was looking for a restaurant for my wife and I for our anniversary. I always wanted to eat here when I lived in Plaza but finally remembered to come since it's a special occasion. Our serve was Dylan and he didn't disappoint with service and recommendations. Ambiance was very Christmas-like and personal especially since it was the holiday's, which felt very private and personal. For starters, I had the escargot and my wife had the Apply Begger's Purse. I was a little surprised with the Gorgonzola taste since I was used to copious amounts of traditional garlic with the dish, but it was surprisingly tasty. The purse was also a good mixture of sweet and savory.I tend to be an adventurous eater and he recommended the ostrich since it was the special for the weekend while my wife had also had the special which was halibut. The Ostrich wasn't very gamy at all the was a mixture of beef and duck tase which took me for a pleasant surprise and the Halibut was cooked perfectly and wasn't very dry.For desert we tried their Flourless Molten Lava Trifle and it was he right amount of sweet.Overall, it was an amazing experience will highly recommend for any special occasion or just date night. Will be back for sure!“
“By far one of the best food experiences I've had in Charlotte to date. From the staff, to the ambiance, to the food...everything about the McNinch house had class.I made an early evening dinner reservation and chose to do the Chef's tasting with wine pairing. My server was Terrell Johnson who is also the lead Somm. I loved that he gave a little history about the house prior to diving into the menus. He listened to all our preferences and paired our wines perfectly to every single course. His knowledge is so vast and his service was impeccable!!!The stars of the show (wine/food) for me were the following:Chenin Blanc from IndiaPinot Noir from South AfricaReising from Germany (dessert)Artichoke and Leek soupPork cheeksRosemary & Dijon crusted rack of New Zealand lamb“
“Upon a recommendation, we tried Crepe Bistro for a mid morning breakfast. The breakfast crepes we tried were tasty and had good portions of meat. While the breakfast crepe was good, it was similar to other places like this. The sweet maple madness crepe was exceptional. The server was pleasant and offered good explanations of the offerings.“
“I found this place on google a while ago. The restaurant is on the smaller side, but I preferred it. Very intimate space. Now the food… amazing!!!! We ordered appetizers before our meal and I didn’t want to share. I have no complaints about anything.“
“I really like this place, they have a lot of healthy food options at affordable prices. The restaurant is really cute inside and has a unique vibe. Their food is always fresh and everything I’ve had has been made from scratchDietary restrictions: I Have to avoid preservatives, Processed food and sugars or I get sickParking: I’ve never had trouble finding a place to park“
“Nice cafe with a very relaxed vibe. I loved the ambiance here, great place to eat, drink and chat. I've been to this Amelie's and the one off E 36th street. This one is definitely my favorite of the two. It felt more cozy and less congested than the one off E 36th. The decor was less distracting with the service, food and drinks being just as good. No bright checkered floors or large replica Eiffel towers, just sweets, drinks and good vibes. The E36th local is definitely cool to visit but this one felt more like a cafe I could experience on the regular and less like a gimmick to draw in customers. I got Chai and the lemon raspberry tart, both delicious. Definitely coming back for that Chai tho ☕️Wheelchair accessibility: There's a ramp for wheelchairs“
“Excellent in every way. Great service, food, atmosphere. I had the Bourbon filet mignon, which was served with fingerling potatoes and carrots. For starters, just their bread and butter alone was great, but also had the Charlotte salad. For dessert, we got the bananas foster. I had a chocolate martini, and loved it so much - I got 2. Everything was seasoned properly, had depth of flavor (surprising and unique), used spices and herbs properly, and felt like a real treat. Each bite was perfect and balanced and cooked how i ordered it. I'm dying to go back! I had a bite of my husband's lamb chop with mushroom risotto, and that was phenomenal as well.“
“The restaurant and service was fantastic with dishes unique to the Charlotte area. Dedication to quality and no corners were cut in the cooling processes. I would recommend the 3 course meal (that way my wife and I could split and taste 6 different and equally delicious plates). It is on the pricier side but this is typical for the area and atmosphere.“
“My favorite restaurant in the area from the first visit in 2014. I don't know how possible not to get a complete satisfaction here. We missed 3 years since covid, but the creativity of chef Adam has never changed. The food was excellent last night for my birthday celebration. The only wish is the servants are trained better.“
