This has been out favorite location for the last 4to5 years. The staff the food, everything was perfect. Fast forward for the last few months it has changed so drastically that we do not enjoy going there anymore. Always new employees wandering around like they aren’t sure exactly what they need to do. Seems to have no interest in doing a good job and having a return customer. Stopped there yesterday and there was one other customer plus the two of us. Ordered the tuna in a tub and it looked more like a heavy soup rather than the tuna you usually get, it was mostly mayonnaise. Ordered a turkey & cheese kids meal, one thin slice of cheese and not enough turkey ti cover the bread, since it was made with the end piece of bread one would have thought they were eating a bread sandwich.

Sat 6/14 7pm, put in an order for 5 sandwiches, (3 small, 2 mini’s) . I normally go to the Weddington location, But I was at this part of town so I put an order at the Matthews location. Big difference! This location makes the sandwiches haphazard with all the filling and toppings off to one side of the sandwich, Smashed together, barely wrapped. So disappointing this order still cost me $50 And there was just no care at all, putting them together. Too much salt, toppings slapped together meat filling off, ( I know as I order every week) . I’ll go out of my way next time to go to other shops other than this one so I can at least get my money’s worth that I work so hard for.

I love this location. All of the staff is always polite but, Max always go over and beyond. He's always in a positive mood and does it with a smile. I know good customer service is hard to come by but he is always delightful.

I went to the weddington store to get some dinner for my family and I. I have been to other Jersey Mikes locations before, so my expectations were pretty high coming in. When I entered the store, I noticed a teenage boy waiting to take my order with blonde hair and braces. Then another teenage boy with brown hair entered from the back, and they immediately started laughing at the fanny pack I was wearing, stating "its not tough." I laughed it off and wasn't too fazed at first. When I went to order my sandwiches and browsed the menu to find what I wanted, the boys rushed me telling me to "hurry up bro," despite nobody being behind me in line. I stated how I would be getting three sandwiches to speed up the process a little, to which the brown hair boy let out an audible sigh in combination with annoyed looks to me, the customer. Throughout the order, the boys constantly laughed at me in a demeaning and patronizing tone, like me ordering food was a joke. I contemplated leaving, but I decided to stick to it and stay despite their immature behavior. I asked lif I was able to substitute turkey for the chicken in the chicken bacon ranch, which they responded with no and then making fun of me for even asking that, like it is some absurd request. The what looked to be the manager was up front, experiencing the whole thing. He looked annoyed but didn't do anything to stop it. When I went to finally check out, I did not see a no tip button, so out of pressure and good will, I gave them a 2 dollar tip. When the receipt printed, rather than handing it to me,they looked and saw my 2 dollar tip, laughed and said "thats it?" After laughing and claiming they don't make enough they crumbled up my receipt and threw it in the trash, hence why I do not have my receipt number. This behavior was unacceptable and straight up bullying. I am disgusted by this location and am unsure whether I will ever be able to return to Jersey Mikes again because of this experience. Not to mention that the sandwiches were made with little quality and care. When I emailed corporate for a refund, they took days to respond and in the end denied my refund. I am seriously not a person to complain at stuff like this but this is seriously the worst experience I have ever experienced and I will not stress this enough.

This has got to be my favorite Jersey Mike's in the piedmont! The staff was soooo coutlrteous, I was almost shocked. Just nice people! The food is always fresh and excellent. Oh, and they use Olive Oil - not canola!
Shout-out to this location! They kept me alive back during my GNC days due to their proximity to the store! Shout-out to a young assistant manager who was most helpful and hard-working! Dude deserves a raise if you ask me! Thanks for making that chapter of my life all the more tasty!
Fast service. Fresh food. Best subs . Will only get subsequent from Jersey Mike since always freshly prepared. Meat and cheese freshly sliced when making sandwich, never precut or remeasured. Fresh vegetables. Clean restaurant. Pleasant worker's. Fast service.
Parking: Located in strip mall. Found space right in front of store.

I gave them a 2 because it seems what day you go indicates what type of service you will get. Today I went and the young lady working the register was also handling food and never took off her gloves. She handle cash, bags, and cups yet I never saw her take off her gloves. I would have left but I was severely hunger. Hopefi I do not become ill.
Please do better. It may be quite some time before I come back. Hope to find a better location that has better food handling practices.
