Omelettes are nearly $15. Too expensive for my tastes.
Our first time visiting this restaurant and glad we discovered it. The chicken fried chicken was perfect and the homemade yeast rolls are worth the visit by themselves. Our server said her favorite is the stewed okra and tomato so she brought us a complimentary bowl to try. Highly recommend!

First visit. From the time we walked in the door until we walked out, we experienced nothing but kindness. Owner was very entertaining & server was on top of it. Not to mention that the food was wonderful.

Wow, what a great restaurant. We have lived in Matthews for 18 years and this was our first time trying this restaurant. The restaurant itself is not fancy or anything, but certainly the food was amazing. Our server Rachel was super kind and happily answered my questions about some dishes on the menu. We ordered 2 dinners, a side of onion rings, 2 teas and they provided rolls and cornbread. All that came out to $34 before tax and tip. How can you beat that for a home cooked meal!!
The only thing I wish I knew about the daily specials that were on the board outside. It was turned so you could not see the back and had I known the daily specials, I would have gotten the fried oysters. We only saw that after we left the restaurant. That is ok because my pot roast was delish! We will be back.

My first time at Miki's and I had such a wonderful experience. Very friendly and accommodating. The food (chicken quesadilla) was quite good. I plan to come back.
Dietary restrictions: There were lots of vegetable options to select from.
Parking: Since the restaurant is in a pretty large shopping center, there are plenty of parking spaces

If you’re ever in the Matthews NC area you need to give this restaurant a try. My wife and I usually eat here once a month. The food is great and the prices are reasonable. I wish they were closer to home.

Affordable, inexpensive, great food, and the "Southern Hospitality" experience is quite notable and appreciated. Only thing they need to do is clean/re-paint some spot on the walls. Other than that, it was great experience!
