Very friendly and fast service, lots of refills, and no rush. If there were bonus points for service, they deserve it. Food is okay, but in fairness, im not easy to impress. Biscuits were outstanding. Coffee is bleh... weak and the cheapest that can be found. Admittedly, it would be hard to compare to the coffee place next door, but there's a a lot of room to improve.
This should be America's favorite Diner as it is now my favorite and I don't even live in North Carolina. Quite enjoyed the fried flounder with Hush Puppies scrambled eggs fried bacon and grilled biscuits Lord Jesus I had the culinary holy ghost from that great food and those folksy and kind people it was like dining at a relative's home
I decide to try this out after a walk in the park nearby and was extremely impressed with the quality and service. The staff were extremely friendly and gave great service. Not to mention the prices are completely fair and not crazy expensive.
I will absolutely be coming here again
