I want to start out by saying the food here is very good. But I’ve never felt so singled out in a restaurant before in my life. I am not a professional at using chopsticks and the man in white shirt with sun glasses proceeded to point that out in front of everyone. This made me extremely uncomfortable. Based on reviews, Lanzhou Hand-Pulled Noodles is a hidden gem offering amazing food with fresh, hand-made noodles that have a great chewy/bouncy texture. The shrimp fried rice is the best ever eaten, and everything ordered has so much flavor. The shaved noodles with pork and fried dumplings are fried perfectly and slightly crispy with the house chili garlic oil. The lo mein has superb flavor and texture, the chili oil noodles are a favorite, and the braised beef soup is awesome. The Boba is good and not too sweet. Customers recommend eating in to get the freshness, as you can see the noodles being hand-pulled from the kitchen. The staff is great and very attentive, and the atmosphere is delightful with very clean bathrooms. While service can be a little rushed, it is excellent five-star service. Takeout is not as good as dining in, but still pretty good.
