The meatball sub was tasty. The bread was hearty and toasty, just like I like it. Portions were big, but not absurd. The owner overheard me saying that I wished there was a particular item in the deli case, and he stopped to let me know where I might be able to find it. I loved the customer service.
One of the best places to eat in Mebane frankly, the prices are really good for the serving size. Personal favorite is the "small" Calzone (Small in quotations because it could honestly serve as 2 meals to most people less gluttonous than me), you get yo choose 3 toppings from a good variety so its very customizable to your liking. absolute best restraint I've ever been to. the food is phenomenal, the service is great, and the menu is huge. I'm literally writing this review at 1:44AM because I can't stop thinking about that cheese pizza
