Took my son for his 20th birthday and our server Nick made it an amazing time. Just EXCELLENT all around.

I would give this place 6 stars if it were possible. We stopped here by chance on our way from Raleigh to Richmond, and this was a fantastic choice. Probably one of the best steaks he had for a long time.

Looks like a junk yard across the street .The food took an hour to arrive and was bland . The atmosphere was cold with Christmas decor still up in March . Overly priced

Well now..... This is their 50th year in business. I've lived in Raleigh for 20 years and never heard of this restaurant. Randomly came across my search for dinner tonight. We drove 50 minutes from Durham to this little GEM! Service was spot on! Nick did a FANTASTIC job for our 1sr visit. Simple menu, nothing fancy. Relaxed dress code. Cool atmosphere. Super friendly staff. Decent value. Absolutely will be back. Nick was even great with my 6 year old. Make a kid happy and the parents are happy too! What an awesome experience! See y'all soon Middleburg.

Changing my 5 star to a 1. Ya'll went from offering a great menu all the time to some highly compromised brunch menu of awful options. Your servers just lost hundreds and your restaurant lost thousands because I won't dine here anymore. Don't go here. Church crowd, move on to better places. Don't waste your money here.

On Valentines Day; a hectic day for any restaurant; the staff did an excellent job how that managed to accompany a packed house!

Best steaks and best staff anywhere!!!

We had confirmed reservations for 7:45pm, with a text message from the restaurant clearly stating that time. When we arrived, the host tried to tell us our reservation was actually for 6:30. Instead of acknowledging their mistake, we were told we’d have to wait 30 minutes for a table.

Thirty minutes turned into over 45, and when we went back to check in, the host hadn’t even written our names down. She told us it would be “five more minutes.” After waiting an additional hour, we asked again why we still didn’t have a table, and the owner cussed us out instead of apologizing or offering any explanation. As we saw him actively going to the bar and taking shots.

On Valentine’s Day, of all nights, this was completely unacceptable. Disorganized, unprofessional, and downright rude. We will never be coming back, and I definitely don’t recommend making plans here if you expect your reservation to actually matter.

Flame grilled, local beef, extensive salad bar, attentive staff that feel like longtime friend, and LIVE MUSIC on a regular basis! Great place!
