“This was a vacation birthday dinner. My family had a table for 10, and had a fantastic time! We’re sorry it took us so long to try this local favorite. I had a ribeye, medium. My first bites were just the steak—no steak sauce. It was a good quality steak, not over seasoned, and cooked to the right temperature. What made it great was the steak was good quality meat, and it was cooked very well. The live band was fun to listen to in the background, and they did some great covers of some country and rock standards.Kaylee, our server, was amazingly conscientious and very skilled in ways that really enhanced our meal. It really was a pleasure to have her coordinate our meal. Kaylee, thank you.Definitely will go back, especially for what folks say is a great brunch. “The chicken is delicious, but they need to stop serving those baby wings. You have a few average sized wings covered by loads of baby wings with a full price. Also, I called in an order and was given a time to pick up order, but got there on time and still had to wait and additional 20+mins. Grant it, I had my family in the car and that is not the type of area you want your loved ones to be just sitting. Tell me a time to pick up my food and make sure it’s ready within that timeframe, so your customers are in and out of the war zone. Otherwise, the taste of the wings are on point and they are cooked perfectly.”

“I was looking for raw vegan food. This place came up so I decided to try it. I am so glad I did! It was delicious! I had the pizza, basil lemonade and sweet potato pie. My granddaughter had a smoothie and the mock tuna. We both kept saying how good the food was. I also bought items from the metaphysical store. We will definitely be back! I drove an hour, but it was worth it for the raw vegan food alone!! I live close to Raleigh and although we do have vegan restaurants, I do not believe we have raw a one. Also, the women were sooooo nice!”

Also has a swing beside each seating area. There is a trash can, and the total seating area is well cared for. Franky, this separates Taco Happy from other trucks. Awesome.We did pastor and chorizo tacos ($3 each) . Both come with cilantro and onion. Both meats are very flavorful and juicy. Also like how each taco has two tortillas, making each easy to eat while holding the juicy goodness in. You are given radishes, onions, and cucumber on the side as well as a container of salsa.Good taco truck and worth a stop. “Only the 2nd time I've eaten at this location. No joke, I walked in the door 1:30 on a Friday, and the first thing I noticed was how clean it was almost like it was remodeled, but it wasn't. Everyone was working and they all seemed to like each other and took pride in their work.I learned how to tweak my order which made a significant difference in the flavor.Tracy sure does know how to manage a happy ship.
