They fixed the speaker for starters, absolutely superb, she was very attentive even though I went through the drive thru and repeated back my order to make sure she didn't make any mistakes. Further, she explained WHY it took a little longer, effective communication, no mistakes and extremely kind. Even though the subs may not be as good of a quality as nearby competitors, it's worth picking them because of this interaction.”

“I've been here multiple times. I highly recommend their specialty rolls that have tempura and/or spicy tuna. The Lychee Sake and Mango Moscato is to die for. For a light beer, try the Sapporo. I came here before my pregnancy, during my pregnancy, and after - I had gestational diabetes and my blood sugar levels stayed pretty stable when I came here (though, mind the tempura and mochi LOL)

Some of the best Salmon and Tuna sashimi in Jacksonville, too. Anyone can eat here. I cannot speak highly enough about Wasabi.

Kid-friendliness: There's always kids here. I bring my newborn. Good atmosphere for kids.

“Came to visit from Boston and so glad I chose to call here. We ordered a large cheese pizza, fried pickles, and buffalo wings. Probably one of the best pizza slices we’ve ever had (and we’re big pizza people)..the rest of the food was delish too but that pizza 🤌🏻 The service was great too, everyone so friendly!”

“So I’ve had my eye on Blend as I drive by for a while now. Well a couple days ago I happen to be in town and I was craving hazelnut so I decided it was time to check them out. The main attraction for me was the opportunity to sit outside on the waterfront and enjoy a nice drink. I met the lady working the counter and told her I was craving hazelnut and thought I would like a frappe, she asked if I wanted cream and I wasn’t sure then she said yea you do and I said okay. She immediately made me feel welcome and she was very friendly. She made my drink and as I tasted it she was genuinely concerned whether I would like it or not. After a few seconds the flavor hit my mouth and it was fabulous, I loved it. And to top that off I went outside as I drank my frappe and enjoyed the waterfront. As I was leaving the lady at the counter asked me to please come again and I said absolutely. Great coffee, great environment and great experience what more could we ask for. Good job and thank you, I will be back.”

The Kettle Diner is a NY style diner with southern flair that's well-established eatery in Jacksonville, NC, has garnered a reputation for its home-cooked meals & diverse menu offerings. This is the first time I have gotten a burger from here after being in this area for 20 years. The burger of choice was the Master Burger. This is a Half-pound of fresh ground beef cooked to order; Served with cheddar cheese, lettuce & tomato on a toasted brioche bun. The flavor profile of the burger is robust and satisfying & embodies everything that a local spot should be. The beef patty is seasoned well and grilled to perfection, resulting in a savory taste that pairs beautifully with the fresh toppings. When combined with the right condiments ( I chose just mustard), each bite delivers a delightful burst of flavor that keeps your taste buds wanting more. Accompanying the burger are the onion rings, which are nothing short of spectacular. They are generously battered & fried to golden perfection.
