“This is where you feel like you're so far away from the rest of the fast paced world. You walk in and you are immediately greeted with a wonderful "Howdy" and treated like you are the next "Super Star" to walk inside this miniature Super Store! With more home-work & equipment supplies that you can imagine, there are lots and lots of every day supplies not to mention, wall coolers that are stock filled with more varieties of drinks and so much food and snacks to select trom too.I think the biggest thrill was to try "Champs Chicken." An integrated full service kitchen and seating restaurant inside Marathon Station! Make sure you go before 3:00 PM as closing time for Champs is right then! Their homemade bone-in fried chicken tastes marinated and has a delicious fried crust; very flavorful and worth the try I think. I know that I will be back again to this Champs Chicken and Marathon Station at91 NC-Rt 9, Mill Spring, North Carolina 28756. What a great experience.”

“I met a friend for dinner last night at Legends. I ordered the Lobster Ravioli, made without the crab for me, and it was absolutely amazing. My friend said that the steak on her salad was cold but overall she enjoyed her dinner. Our food was a little slow coming out of the kitchen but our waitress did a great job of attending to us even though she had multiple tables assigned.”

“Wow wow wow. What a gem! This place is absolutely amazing. The property and the views of the lake are beautiful. But the food and a cocktails are FANTASTIC!! We’ve eaten here a few times now and everything has been over the top delicious. The food rivals some of the best restaurants in larger cities. Highly recommend. Take a drive for lunch or dinner one day, better yet spend the weekend at the lodge that Appalachia is attached to. You won’t be disappointed.”

“Amazing winery, we bought a bottle of Viognier, delicious and refreshing. Sampled others and all were delicious. We love dry wines, so we were in heaven. The view is breathtaking can’t wait to come during warmer weather, to fully enjoy ourselves outside. Eric was very informative with the wines and very nice . Rebecca, can’t even express the words how, friendly and warm she was. We felt like family, while we were there. We visit a lot of wineries, all around. And have to admire and comment, especially when they are good.”

“Stopped by just before closing & had a delicious piece of gf Lemon cake. My husband had the gf fudge brownie, also wonderful. We were very impressed with the owner Bailey. We own a couple of independent similar cafes so we can appreciate the amount of effort she puts in to her cafe. I don’t know how she does it but the made from scratch goodies & cappuccinos were top notch. We plan on going back as much as possible!”

“Highly recommend Open Road as it’s mine and my boyfriend’s favorite coffee shop. It’s usually pretty busy in the morning, and for good reason, but it’s definitely worth the short wait in line. We’re currently obsessed with the honey walnut scones, and the iced beige latte is my go to. Everything is fresh and delicious, the atmosphere is so welcoming and cozy, and the baristas are awesome. Shoutout to Robert for the outstanding customer service, and for always going above and beyond!”

“We had lunch today at Naruto Sushi Bar and Ramen In Columbus, NC. The sushi was fresh and beautifully presented. The owner and staff were exceptionally friendly and efficient. The menu is extensive with both elaborate ramen bowls and great appetizers. The interior of the restaurant is bright and spotless and there is an outdoor deck. What a super find!!
