The traditional Korean dishes delicious however the bulgogi french fries were lacking in flavor and cheese. If they could improve this dish, it might be their #1 dish.

Enjoyed a pleasant meal here tonight before the snow storm arrives. Small though clean space. Ample parking available . Authentic delicious Korean food . Attentive service. We also ordered a soup to go because of the cold weather and expected snow.
The only thing for me is I prefer to have fountain sodas available when I go out to dine. They do not serve this and only have can drinks just as an FYI. Other than that it was a nice experience.

Ordered something I thought I would enjoy. But I did not like the taste of it and gave it back. I was still charged although I stayed and ordered something else. Ridiculous. $49. $18 went to something which I did not eat. Will not be returning.

Edit: For them to say they care about food and safety guidelines, it dont seem like they take their roach issue seriously.

We’re so glad we made a stop at Dae Bak Korean Restaurant after coming back into Charlotte from a long road trip. On a chilly evening, this place was just the cozy spot we needed. We were seated right away, and the staff was super friendly from the start.

The food was absolutely fantastic. We tried the bulgogi with rice and a mild sundubu, and the portion sizes were generous. Everything tasted fresh and delicious. We also really enjoyed the little side dishes—especially the kimchi, bean sprouts, and cucumbers. And the kids got a kick out of the steamed egg, which arrived so hot it looked like a little volcano steaming away.

All in all, a fantastic spot to unwind and have a great meal—highly recommend

This is one of the best Korean restaurants we have been to so far. The food has an authentic flavor and the atmosphere carries a very casual and friendly vibe. Ask for the barley tea. Condiments upon request like soy sauce and sesame seed oil. Overall it was a very comfortable dining experience and I would highly recommend it to anyone wanting to try something new or likes the Korean cuisine.

I like the food. Everything tasted good and scratched my Korean itch. Portions were okay. We just got it to go and had 2 bolgolgi 1 bim bop and a tofu dish. The shocker was it was a little bit more expensive than I was expecting. I'm not one to usually complain but 4 lunch dishes were $100.

I normally don't do reviews I've only did three in my life but this Korean Fried Chicken was so good I had to let everyone know, The first bite is indescribable You lose the ability to speak and form sentences for a hot second and let me tell you this was one of those moments in time I will be telling stories about for many years to come.

I spent a year in Korea and I felt like i was back.
Spicy beef stew with glass noodles was exceptionally special.
Hot pot bi bim bap was fire and the soy sauce was rich.
Steamed vege buns were… well have had a couple different and these were by far the best.
Thank you all for running the shop and putting our heart and home into the food .
So great Korean cookware, rice green tea, and ramen selection (among many other Korean grocery items )

The entrance is on the side, we came once thought it was closed down because the front door is locked up and there is construction inside.

<3 stay safe!!

Awesome place! The spicy sausage stew is the main dish I would recommend. The portions are large, and they always give 5 small side dishes. My husband and I eat out here about once a month. The bulgogi bowl is also good! The staff is always professional and easy to talk to, and the atmosphere is laid back and cozy
