Hawthorne's New York Pizza and Bar Mint Hill

Mooresville Location… We love the pizza, but our order is wrong half the time. When placing an online order, the employees have to hand key the order into their system. More times than not, the order is keyed wrong. I’m tired of having to wait extra time because of the carelessness.

Just ordered pizza for the first time from Hawthornes. I’m from NY and haven’t been able to find good pizza around here. This pizza was absolutely delicious! I’m so happy I found this place!

I’ve always loved their pizza, but the Elizabeth Special pizza I ordered for takeout was extremely disappointing. It had hardly any toppings, barely any sauce, and the crust was dry and overcooked. I used to order from here often, but I’ll look at ordering elsewhere from now on.

My husband and I come here mostly every Wednesday and Eric is always there to greet us with a smile. We sit down and he brings us our drinks from his memory and asks us for our usual and we love it. We feel right at home. Yes, we love the food, absolutely delicious, but having Eric there completes our date afternoon/night.

We stopped at this restaurant on our way back to Virginia because my son had a football camp nearby. We were greeted by the friendly staff and the food was AMAZING! The quesadilla was so full of flavor and those grilled onions inside were made with love! The Hill style wings were amazing and honey that house made ranch was a perfect pair. I appreciated the family atmosphere and the owner stopping by to say hello. As a former restaurant owner, I give small businesses so much grace because I know how hard it is. I will definitely be back with my family the next time we are in town.

Best Pizza I have had since moving to NC!

We heard that Hawthorne’s was top 3 pizza in the Charlotte area so we tried it today! Our first impression was amazing, Stephanie is thorough, gives great insight on the menu and has an amazing personality. Hawthorne’s carries nonalcoholic beer which we appreciate! We ordered the “18 The Meat Eaters Pie and everything was cooked perfectly, lots of toppings and my husband didn’t want to stop eating it! The manager, Ben, stopped at the tables a few times to
make sure everyone was happy, which doesn’t happen enough anymore these days. We made sure to stop and tell them how awesome Stephanie is and that we’ll only ever come to this Hawthorne’s because you can’t get better!

Came back and we were sad Stephanie wasn’t working and knew our waitress had big shoes to fill. Emily did that! So kind, helpful, warm and took GREAT care of us!

Seriously, this place has great people working and the food is fantastic! We’ll be back!

Zach was the server. First time at this location, but long time Hawthorne's repeat customer, #1 spot on our 3 to 4 hour drive fun home. Hawthorne's is alwaysa must visit. I got to say because of Zach's service this will be one of our go to spots when we come back!

We came in with a party of 10 right when they opened on a Sunday morning. The service was great! The food was great! Portions are big, so I brought leftovers home! The garlic knots are DELICIOUS! 🤤

We usually get great pizza here but the last two times haven't been good :( we got burnt pizza tonight and it was only cut into fourths. Take a peek at the char in the corner. Hoping next time is better or we may have to try a different place.

It pains me to write this. But, if you are doing take out taste your food before you drive 20 minutes home just to find out they poured what tasted like an entire container of salt. The lasagna was pure salt dressed perfectly. A misconception, a total disappointment.Eyes watering because I waited for this meal to share with my hubby after a tiring day. And I tipped. Was this on purpose? Can’t be? But nevertheless won’t be ordering no time soon.?And yea I could have driven back to complain but what’s the point. Wasted 32 bucks.
