Taqueria Don Frank's serves real authentic Mexican food, and is the best Mexican in Mocksville. The food is hot and delicious, with the tender carnitas, perfect pico de gallo, and pintos with just enough seasoning. The mar y tierra steak with shrimp is a 10 out of 10. Other menu highlights include tacos al pastor, Birria tacos, gorditas, ACP, quesabarilla, and 3 traditional tacos with carnitas, steak, and chicken. Service is extremely quick and wonderful, and the people are friendly and awesome. Don’t let the gas station location deter you; this place is a jewel. The food is done in a timely manner, and is the most authentic Mexican food ever had. Customers would make an hour and a half trip just to eat here again, and many look forward to returning for the Horchata.
