This was very disappointing. We have eaten at several other Mexican restaurants in the area and decided to give this one a try for a change. There is a limited drinks menu but it showed two of our favorite Mexican beers. The waitress told us that neither were available, ... nor were any other Mexican beers, nor Blue Moon, leaving only high-volume domestic beers, which we don't like. We had margaritas instead, which weren't the best margaritas we've ever had.We ordered our favorite Mexican steak dishes .... but they were out of the steak cuts to make those items as described in the menu. We had them made with flank steaks instead, which was disappointing.We were the only diners in the restaurant when we arrived, and the only ones in there when we left.

Food sucked service sucked food was cold and the chicken natcos were so drenched with what ever juices it was but over bad experience I'll never go back and not to mention the price very high for such low quality

I have had a really great experience here but unfortunately, tonight was the opposite. The margaritas we ordered were made with a 1/2 oz shot of Tequila and for the price, disappointing. For me, any good cantina can be judged by the chips and salsa and what we had was under the bar.

A server I’m not gonna say the name but it starts with a H and ends with Tor told me he wouldn’t give me chips and salsa but gave me a margarita in place for chips. What the heck…. C- for efforts I reckon.But a girl that start with L it’s her birthday.

Just had lunch there with our daughter. She had recommended it and it was a good choice. The service was excellent and the food was outstanding. We all had the #6 lunch selection (chimichanga). Chips and salsa were great and refilled without asking. Definitely recommend!!!

Outstanding food and service. We usually dine in and get the incredible queso with chorizo or the Birria and we don’t dine there much. I was hosting a party and decided to Call around for pricing on a catering order. We went with 1942 and so glad we did! They not only exceeded our expectations but went the extra mile, throwing in some of their service spoons to borrow and a few amazing extras! The food was hot, fresh and delicious and the portions were generous - always a worry when hosting. The price was great and the communication was excellent. They will be our go to catering place for parties going forward. Everyone raved about the food and I didn’t have to slave in the kitchen with this heat. Awesome job and thank you 1942!!

Clean and bright inside. Lunch menu is priced excellent and portions are perfect. Always delicious and only a couple minutes for food to arrive. Highly recommend if in the area.

Went for our first time and got the chicken chimichanga. It was very salty, tasted like the salt had been dumped on it. Told them and they brought me another one and It was still the same and I couldn’t eat it. I only ate the rice. We were still charged full price, no discount or anything. Very disappointed. Will not be back
