Outstanding food and service. We usually dine in and get the incredible queso with chorizo or the Birria and we don’t dine there much. I was hosting a party and decided to Call around for pricing on a catering order. We went with 1942 and so glad we did! They not only exceeded our expectations but went the extra mile, throwing in some of their service spoons to borrow and a few amazing extras! The food was hot, fresh and delicious and the portions were generous - always a worry...

Definitely one of my favorite places to eat. Every dish I've had there so far has been amazing and you cannot get better service. If you are in the area stop by. I promise you will not be disappointed.

It was a busy night. The servers were good but overwhelmed. I had a margarita, which was marginal. (Too much cheap mix not enough tequila) but maybe the higher end margarita is better. Will try next time and update.The quesadilla was good and the tortilla soup was hot and tasty. Could have used a few limes on the side and Tajin but that would have just been added for an extra star!I’ll definitely return and try some more items as the restaurant is very clean and the staff is...
