My dad took my family here for boyfriend's birthday.. he had told us you have to try the food at mac's, it's really good. He was not lying! Wonderful staff and fantastic food. Definitely plan to go back soon ♡

We were about 40 ladies and we ordered at the counter and the food came out very fast as each order was done. They were prepared for us....the food was very good and the portions were large. I had fried shrimp, french fries, hush puppies and Cole slaw with my order....

At first impressions from outside, you wouldn't think much of it. But you go inside and try this truly southern cuisine. It'll take you back to Grandma's cooking. The barbeque is vinegary, and the slaw is creamy, blending with barbeque sauce for an amazing Carolina barbeque rush. The flounder is flakey and soft, breaded to perfection. From a steak and shrimp dish to a classic southern platter, you can quench any craving. And don't get me started on the banana...
