Del Sur Fresh Mex & Cantina

I've always been a customer of this place, but this time I felt racism from the hostesses. From the moment we arrived, they looked at us with a bad face. When they sent me food, they didn't send my complete order. I complained. They still got upset. From the moment we arrived, they treated us like weirdos. That treatment makes us uncomfortable.

Great experience everytime

Cannot say enough about this restaurant! From the live guitarist to the food and staff, they are amazing. The food is authentic and delicious. The staff is friendly and the service is less than 5 minutes. I leave Charlotte just to eat at this location because it is just that good. It’s a wonderful place to visit to kick off the weekend!

Great food. Luv salsa bar. Pineapple salsa great burrito fixed exactly like I like it. husband had lunch carnitas he lived it not overly spiced

Maybe not all staff but I know one is racist, I walked in and a group was behind me instead of acknowledging me first she started speaking Spanish to the group behind me and sit them immediately.I was just here to pick up my order and I had to find an employee to help me because she didn't care to acknowledge us. I wasn't the only one that was ignored by that lady if you talk Spanish she will help but that's it,a few people got aggravated because of her actions. and my food got sit down and forgotten about even though the employee knew I have arrived I literally had to get angry to get my food.and guess what the food is wrong like nothing was correct and not even the best tasting.I'm sorry but this is one spot I'll skip on and it's literally 5 mins away from home. We wasted 35 dollars because I definitely wasn't going back after getting the service I received the first time around. So thanks guys for making my first time be the last time and I'll be sure to pass my experience to my friends and family.

Good food but never get orders correct. Because they never write stuff down

Our family was just there Monday evening. Our youngest picked del sur for her bd dinner. The gentleman with guitar sung happy bd and dancing queen at our table before we ordered food. Food was good. Thankfully came out fast and hot. Everything was going well. But towards the end of our evening the waitstaff approached our table with a sombrero, ice cream with a candle along several singing happy birthday again which was totally fine but ended it with a large napkin heaped in whip cream smashed in our 11 year old daughters face and hair. The level of shock from us all 😖😳 Her big brothers and dad trying to help the situation by telling her it will be ok. Ultimately she sat there in tears before she and I walked to the bathroom. Staff chuckling along the way. Like WTF. She cried more in the bathroom asking why would they do that. Another customer witnessed what happened and said she was so sorry to my daughter despite having nothing to do with what happened. My husband stayed with 2 of our sons to pay while I left promptly with daughter and another son who was trying hard to make his sister feel better. She had a great day and evening after we got home. Despite the food being good, she has already stated she won’t go back. A place she’s gone with her daddy. With me. One of our lunch spots. Not any more unfortunately.

Ordered through the recommended app and got there a bit early for pickup. I was immediately greeted and updated on my order.
While waiting for it to finish being prepared, I was checked on often.

The person who handed me the order (I failed to get their name) was polite and the order was packaged perfectly.
The food was hot, fresh and delicious. I have a favorite Mexican restaurant where I live and I'm always worried about eating in other towns but this one lived up to my expectations and more.

I will be going back again and looking forward to dining in next time as the atmosphere is *chefs kiss* ??

I’m giving this restaurant a one star because of customer service. The young boy that was at the cash register attitude was nasty. I had ordered an ACP the day before with extra Quese. They charge me extra cheese and forgot to put it in my box. So I took my receipt and showed him how it “said extra queso” he said that they put in the food not in a cup on the side. My ACP was dry and was no extra queso on my to go order. He didn’t even work when I had placed my order. I bought the receipt and everything and the receipt even said extra “queso”he said that the waitress which was “Widny” was new and maybe she didn’t understand what I was saying, so then he proceeded to ask me if I wanted some queso and I said yes he charged me 4.27 for more queso that I feel like I already paid for. I asked for the manager that he said was his uncle then asked for his name and he would not tell me his name and kept asking me why I wanted his name, so unprofessional. The food was good but I will never spend my money here again because of their childish employee customer service.

This was my 5th trip to Del Sur and I can't recommend it enough. My recommend is going with any of their ACP lineup they are all amazing.

My mother ate here and had glass in her food. All they asked is if she wanted ANOTHER. Why would anyone want a replacement?
