I am not someone who seeks out for donut shops, because in the rare chance that I do try, I am often left disappointed. This also includes those fancy donut shops in urban cities, which are often overpriced and overhyped. I find that most donuts I purchase taste overtly sweet and/or oily (or worse, fried in in the same oil one too many times).
However, I am pleasantly surprised and am so glad to have tried this place. I ordered a maple glazed, vanilla glazed, and chocolate cake donut and, wow! They tasted all so fresh and delicious. The donuts were sweet, but not in a cloying way, and none of the donuts left an oily aftertaste as most donuts do. Workers were also very friendly and welcoming. The price point was beyond reasonable too. There is outdoor bench seating if you wanted to eat right then and there. I am (to my surprise) looking forward to coming back and trying different flavors.
Update: I just read the store's "Our Story" page and am so moved by their mission and purpose. All the more reason for me to visit and support!

Doughnuts are available everywhere, there are chain companies and local shops, but I never been to one that support people with special needs. Their message is good but the doughnuts are also good.Small like place off the road, you can order online which is different and convenient.They have many different type of icing available and you can even upgrade to gourmet style which is more sugary toppings. Gourmet is too much for me, it is too sweet. Same reason I don't like Duck doughnut because they are too much.Regular icing is just perfect in my opinion. Check out their online menu and see what you like.
