The BEST donuts in Mooresville, and probably the best in the Charlotte metro area. I try donuts in every city/town that I visit, and none of them come close to Down for Doughnuts in food and service quality. Definitely a can’t-miss in Mooresville! The blueberry cake is my favorite.

We tried Down for Donuts about a month before I placed an order. I pass by often and wanted to have different dessert options for my son’s birthday. The lady at the window was super friendly and answered all my questions about what I was looking for. When I placed my order I went back to the shop go over everything I was looking to ordered instead of using the online ordering system.
The Donut Cake was a hit and we also ordered 24 Cupcakes and a dozen donuts (kid friendly). Everything was delicious and everyone raved about it! Thank you for what you guys do and the delicious desserts / donuts you make!

I’m in town from Texas and wanted to try out a local non-chain donut place. These are the best donuts I’ve ever had in my entire life OMG, you have to go and get yourself some of these donuts! Soft, thick, moist, best icing you’ve ever had on/in a donut!

My husband and I stopped here as we moved to town mid February. Doughnuts are my kryptonite so I was looking for another small local business to support, and came across this spot. The doughnuts are fantastic, we had the smores and lemon filled glazed. We devoured in our car because they looked so tasty!!! But aside that, I was touched with the backstory of this place as I too have a sibling who has Down Syndrome. My heart is warmed with the opportunity these individuals have to be employed in a safe space and to be included as members of society which often times can sometimes be overlooked. We will definitely be back. Thank you!!!
