Hawthorne’s New York Pizza and Bar Mooresville

I ordered lasagna around 9:30 Saturday October 4th. In South End. They made it look yummy on their website but what they served me was not edible. It looked as if someone drowned lasagna noodles in spaghetti sauce but the sauce wasn’t even red so I’m not sure what it was. By the time I got home and got a look at it the restaurant was closed so I couldn’t take it back.

PLEASE BRING BACK THE BANG BANG SHRIMP PO BOY!!!! I haven’t stopped thinking about it since I had it and was very bummed when it wasn’t back on the specials menu.

Being from NY and loving a NY pie you gotta love Hawthorne's in Mooresville. Their pizza is a great NY style. Thin and so crisp on the bottom. Love it.

Best meatball Parmesan sub I’ve ever had in my life and I’ve been around for a while.. I will be going back to try all of their other menu items.

Great pizza!!!

DO NOT waste your money on this pizza!! I spent $30 on a Sicilian pizza and it was so bad that I would rather have spent that money at little Ceasars and gotten more pizza that would have tasted better than the pizza I got. It was soooo bad that I will never be eating here again and I do not recommend this place to anyone.

Regular customer on Sunday after church. Always good food, decent prices, wonderfull atmosphere. We came in with a party of 6, which swelled to 11, as freinds just kept showing up. The staff was very accommodating, made sure we all were seated together.
We told our server 'Steven' that we needed separate checks (5). He was able to keep us under control (very boisterous) and assist with our orders. There were a few minor 'hiccups', but everything worked out fine. All of us will be back, and bring more freinds. I did read a review from someone that stated it was too loud, well we enjoy it, the laughter, the good times, the joy. There is an outside patio area, we have sat there also. All-around good place to be.

Good pizzeria as close to NY as your going to get

This was my 2nd visit to Hawthorne's and I continue to be pleased with the food, service, and the atmosphere. Their food is really great (many of my New York friends all have said that Hawthorne's is one of their favorites).

The service is excellent. Today they mistakenly made up my pizza incorrectly with pepperoni instead of mushrooms. They immediately realized the problem, asked if we would like it and left it with us to start on while doing another pizza with the correct toppings at no charge. The server was great about the issue and so quickly addressed it, which exceeded our expectations.

I like the neighborhood feel of the place and the indoor and outdoor dining options.

The pricing is reasonable and the selection from their menu offers a good variety.

Probably the best flavored pizza I've ever eat! The Inducer is probably my new favorite!!! The Calamari is amazing! The pizza crust is sooooo tasty!!!

Been coming here on my work lunch with my coworker every week and a nice male server takes care of us. This time a shorter lady was our server, when they got my order wrong, instead of re making my food or running it back through the oven with the topping I ordered… they microwaved some pepperonis and brought it out for me to put on my pizza. How sorry is that, bad service and that’s def not how u fix a mess up on y’all’s end, that’s how u lose regular customers. Wont be back ngl I’ll go get a large $8 dominos pizza and they’ll make it right. Sucks to sucks

What a Most Pleasant Experience!!!! Apparently my phone in order ( Large Margarita Pizza & an Italian Stromboli ) got lost in the shuffle & was not made up on my arrival ....Staff was very sweet & the manager ,KELLY , came out of the office an Apologized & told me they would make it IMMEDIATELY & No Charge !!! I was so impressed & told her that Free of Charge was not necessary But that they could just buy me a beer at the bar while I waited ....Not only would they Not Allow me to pay for the beer they Insisted the Whole Order was On The House & simply requested I Come Back Again 😁😁😁....Great spot with nice patio & ABSOLUTELY PROFESSIONAL STAFF .....& My Margarita Pizza & Strom oli were off the hook Excellent ....Truly Delightful Experience & they have EARNED MY BUSINESS FOR LIFE !!! ....THANK YOU STAFF & KELLY 😁

Mooresville Location… We love the pizza, but our order is wrong half the time. When placing an online order, the employees have to hand key the order into their system. More times than not, the order is keyed wrong. I’m tired of having to wait extra time because of the carelessness.
