Ichiban Hibachi Buffet

I don’t understand how this place even had a 4.0! Disgusting! Food is trash! Place looks filthy/all food taste like it was yesterday leftovers. I will never ever be coming back. Even the cup I was drinking out of smelt like old dishes. Lost my appetite right as soon as I took the first bite. I do not recommend this place! Period.

Hello Ichiban Buffet restaurant. In my opinion, this is a delicious buffet restaurant, described as small, simple and of adequate quality and affordable. $12/person is not expensive at all. Here, go to the counter to register for your meal, but after eating, you will pay at the cashier, then they will bring the remaining money to the table for you, then politely leave a tip. The dining table space is arranged on both sides from the left and right doors. Although not as large as other buffet restaurants, there is enough seating for everyone. When the wait staff removes the old plate of food, if they bring the spoon and fork, they will definitely bring a new one in exchange for the customer. Giving food isn't too much, but it has its own advantages. Most of the dishes are seafood, shrimp, crab, squid and fish, with up to 3 rows of food with many different options. This is exactly my taste. There are a few dishes that will be a bit salty to eat with vegetables or fried rice. There are cakes and fruit for dessert. My favorite dish here is hot salmon, the seafood dishes are soft and suitable for the elderly and children. In particular, the ice cream here is not too sweet compared to other shops I have eaten at. The last dish must be delicious to leave a good impression. Thank you for your service. I will still come back.

I have been eating here with my family since 2017. I have watched their services, variety, and quality of food improve progressively. It is a family-friendly place to dine out. I recommend Ichiban Hibachi Buffet of Mooresville, NC (off Ext 36 on I-77)

I love this place, so I won't go into the details of our most recent visit.

Food-wise, it's one of the best buffets in the region. We drove an hour to have a late lunch.

It was okay... The chicken dishes were good. The beef dishes were over cooked but tasted fine. The dessert was good. The seafood and sushi were unappetizing. The price was fair, $15, but not worth it. I have passed this place for years, wanted to give it try. I would not eat here again.

Staff is courteous. Food is very good. The facility is clean and very well kept. This was my 1st time here. I will definitely come back.

This is sad to post, we used to go here all the time and never had any issues! But this past time this is what we found in one of our foods! I hope they get the problem taken care of, as we will not be back, but feel bad for others that are unaware! We did let them know without causing a seen.

Not so many options compared with other hibachi grills. Food is fine but not great.
The server was very attentive and cleaned everything quick every time it was needed. She was also on top of drinks so I would not run out of it.
Checken was barely warm.

Food is mediocre at best. Visited 630 on Saturday. Much on the buffet was dried out and rather tasteless. I did not trust the sushi as even the Wasabi paste was crusty. Sanitation eating was only 92 I saw on my way out.
