It might seem odd to rate anything related to the DMV this highly, but the Mooresville licence plate office does a pleasantly surprising job.They are efficient given the sheer volume that goes through, and always remain friendly.
I was skeptical about coming here due to all the negative reviews but I had a great experience thankfully. I got there 8:45am 15 minutes before they opened on a Wednesday morning. I was the 10th person in line standing outside and by 9:15 I was out the door with my new license plate and registration. Small office but it moved super quick.
Staff were kind and efficient. Mathematically speaking, their choice to have 2 lines, one for a separate purpose than the other, is not the best... but I still spent maybe 15 mins in there total.
