We heard good things about Savannah Oyster and was looking forward to trying it. Met up with some friends and off to the races. The decor and atmosphere was really fresh and airy. Our server greeted us and again was really excited about the experience. We started with the grilled octopus and it was really good. For our mains, we had the Mahi Mahi and Shrimp and Grits. Both dishes were good and did enjoy our meals. However, I think that everything is a little overprice. I'm not above spending some extra money for an amazing meal, but this for me was not an amazing meal. I'm sorry to say this, but for me I will pass.

We went to there grand opening and the food was delicious and the clams on the half shell are my favorites I’m from New York and they are hard to find in the south but now I understand they do not serve them anymore that was a disappointment but I will return again soon.

What a great local seafood place, 10 minutes from the house. The Oysters were fresh and the horseradish hot! Just the way I like them. I ordered the clams and there were plenty and so good. Highly recommend getting the Octopus, not over done and delicious. The server was awesome too attentive but didn’t interfere.

I really loved everything we ordered for the table. I drank dirty martinis but they also had a great cocktail list. My Mahi Mahi was cooked perfect and the rice was delish. For the app we had some bread and Rockefeller oysters we all loved. Don't forget to order a side of the fries though because I could go there just for

Oysters are top notch; good selection of stuff from the east coast, all very clean and well-prepared. As good as I've had anywhere in the country.I tried a few other things - clams casino and the scallops main were both pretty good. I felt like the raw bar menu wasn't super extensive; would have been nice to see a few more options on it.Overall though, a good spot. Good vibe and atmosphere. Nice to have a quality oyster place in Mooresville. Admittedly not inexpensive!

I can't express how much I love this place! Fresh, quality seafood in Mooresville... finally! The grilled octopus is absolutely to die for!!! Definitely one of the best I've ever had, and I've had quite a bit from restaurants all over the globe. It's incredibly tender, with wonderful flavor and a nice grapefruit citrus that really compliments this deliciousness. The fried green tomatoes are a must, with a perfect blend of poblano pepper, chorizo and avocado crema topping. The selection of oysters is fabulous, with some outstanding mignonette flavors created by the chef. The clams casino left something to be desired, as they were a bit dry and really needed a sauce of some type. The crab and avocado appetizer desperately needed some citrus or acid, but has potential with a little tweaking from the kitchen. I'm not a big bread person, but their crusty bread with various spreads is delicious. Highly recommend the lemon chest pie for dessert. Yum!!! Service has been exceptional each time I've gone. I hope they maintain this level of quality. My only criticism is fighting for a parking spot is a pain.Parking: A few spaces on the street in front of restaurant. Small parking lots available a ways away, but only limited spaces available.

I don't usually write reviews but this is a great restaurant to have in Mooresville, NC. The decor is so cute and looks like you are in Savannah. This was our second time there. They have a great menu, food is amazing, service is excellent. We started with lobster crabcakes, small portions but just right for an appetizer for two. I had fried green tomatoes for my salad. It is covered in pimento cheese (great) and a jam that is a little spicy. For my entree I had chilean seabass for the first time ever and it was spectacular.. cooked perfectly with green tomato jam on top along with a potato cake type side and brocollini. My husband had a ribeye that he said was cooked perfectly. Also they make a great amaretta sour!! The reason I only gave 4 stars is the noise level, when we sat down near a large party the noise was unbearable. We were moved to another table where it was still loud but much more comfortable. It is because of the ceiling being so open.

It was SO loud that we could not hear each other or the waitress. The acoustics are terrible! We have been here several times and we are always turned off by the aggressive "upsells". The food is good but very expensive. The service is slow but the staff seems to be very knowledgeable.

Best service and food in Mooresville! Everyone is so nice and everything is delicious. We had the scallops and we highly recommend. Definitely making this our go-to special occasion spot!

You wouldn't think Mooresville NC would be known for fine dining and interesting restaurants, but Savannah OC is a surprising gem in town. Located in the historic renovated One Mill Building, the decor is "modern vintage" with seaside Savannah inspired decor without being kitschy. Only negative is that the dining area was very loud (we were there on Saturday night in a full restaurant so this is somewhat expected). Our server was excellent. Very knowledgeable. Walked us through all the oyster selections and the specials. Very friendly. She convinced us to try some great cocktails, app, oysters, desserts, and digestif. All were excellent. Some of the best oysters I've ever had. My Mahi Mahi fish was cooked perfectly. My daughter had the lobster tail which was cooked very nicely. Could tell it was fresh, not frozen. My wife had the sea bass which was also cooked perfectly. Only negative is that the portion sizes were a little small for the price. Overall excellent experience and food. Authentic, coastal Carolina seafood. Among best oysters I've ever had. Would definitely go again. Many more dishes I'd like to try. Definitely recommend a reservation - the restaurant was full. Great for special occasions, romantic dinners, but probably a little pricey for a routine family dinner.

First service was great. Our waiter was attentive and a delight. My problem is the prices and the portions. The cocktails come in old fashioned champagne glasses... tiny. I had the special it was a whopping $52. I wasn't aware of the price. I should have asked. It came with a tiny lobster tail and a light layer of risotto. An absolute joke. Overpriced. I'm not sure if I will be back.

Went for valentines dinner, had an early reservation. Lovely space and attentive service. Pretty expensive. Ordered one of the special cocktails and should have asked pricing …. $35!!!! Wow. Lobster bisque was good but very thin, not what I’m used to with a bisque type soup. Hubby had clam chowder and said it was tasty but no clams he could find. Our entrees (scallops and crispy flounder) were good also. Had read about the bread but none was offered or brought to our table. See on some others and it was on the menu but no pricing so assumeIt is included? Ordered dessert to share and a coffee which was lukewarm. Server did bring another. Spent over $200 so won’t be a regular rotation restaurant. I would go back for cocktails and apps but for the price 131 main or table 31 much IMO.
