Food and service was just Ok. We were forced to sit in the bar. We were with another couple and it was so loud we couldn't talk across the table.

I have tried this place several times now in the hopes to find something other than wings to brag about. Sadly the food is not that great. Often greasy and poorly put together. Onion rings taste just like the deep fryer.Wings and drinks are safe.

Came by for an early lunch on a slow Monday. Server took my drink order and came back 2 minutes later to take my food order and instead of asking if I was ready she asked “what are you having for lunch today” . I clearly had not looked at the menu and I told her I was not ready yet. She proceeded to say with an attitude “OK” and did not come back once to check on me for 15-20 minutes until I had to say something. I decided not to order any food and just leave. Awful service. No dining room available only the bar. Not the best atmosphere. (I have been here before and the food has been decent so that’s why I give two stars. Service has always been lackluster.)

Great food, great service! The food is much nicer than regular Tavern fare. Chicken parm was delicious, Chopped steak was exceptional! Go hungry - the plates are huge. This is on our "weekly dinner date" list.

Great spot for a beer and a bite. Best bartenders/wait staff ever and the kitchen folks rock! Always friendly folks at the bar! Love this place, great food.

Food was very fast but visibly unseasoned and bland. Jumbo wings are not very jumbo at all. Drinks were good. Good

Visited for the first time since the name change a while back. Entered at about 5pm on a Saturday to a neat full bar area with seating (more quiet dining room was empty). Had no clue what to get as the whole menu looked fabulous. I gave out waitress my choices I narrowed it down to and she suggested the Notorious P.I.G. burger. Wife got the Chicken Scratch. A short wait and our food was brought out to us and OMG the amount of food we got was unheard of in this day and age and the prices were great! Both sandwiches were cooked to perfection and probably the best I've had in a long time! How in the world someone came up with a burger that has beef patty, brisket, bacon, pimento cheese, onion rings on it I have no idea but it was absolutely fabulous! The chicken scratch had TWO chicken breasts on it! The sides were buffalo chips (worth it) and kettle chips all made in house I believe! Will will be back no doubt soon. I must hand it to our waitress also, I forget her name but she was fabulous and attentive!

One of Mooresville best spots for lunch and beers. Tacos are phenomenal! Amy's awesome!

Don't waste your time today. The bar area is packed, but they refuse to open the additional seating area.

I rarely write reviews but feel this place has inspired me. SERIOUSLY bad food. I want to like it because it’s right in my neighborhood but after several times, it is nothing if not consistently very bad. The Ruben was dry, with rubbery meat, scant on everything that makes a Ruben a Ruben, and they used the bread loaf “ends” but disguised it by putting them on the inside of the sandwich lol. It was basically tasteless which I didn’t know was possible with a Ruben. That was my order. The fish and chips - like something from Captain D’s but maybe not that good. My husband felt sick afterward. This was the latest (and last) experience but the previous ones were only marginally better. As I said, I WANT to like this place but will never be back. The one and only bright spot- really nice waitress/bartender.

I haven't been here in a year or two, but we needed a place for a late dinner on a Sunday night. The food was better than last time. The service was MUCH better than last time. Kayleigh (I think) was one of the hardest working servers I've seen in years. She never neglected us and still managed to wait on everyone else and perform lots of end of shift chores. Good beer selection, good drink selection and good menu choices. I am definitely looking forward to going back again. Hopefully, the food and service will be as good as this time.

JUMBO Wings did NOT disappoint! Best wings in the Mooresville area! The service was fast and friendly. Great atmosphere and a deceptively large restaurant area inside. Plenty of craft beer options, lots of local choices. Our bartender (Jennifer) makes a savory spicy bloody mary, too. We've lived here 3+ years and finally found a day where the traffic wasn't ridiculous to drive over. We're so glad we finally made it to Village Taphouse and will definitely be going back!

First visit and we were there for a late lunch. We had a coupon and wanted to try something new. I had the Philly cheesesteak with tots. Plenty of beef and cheese and delicious grilled onions. A boatload of Tater Tots and they were hot and very good. My wife had the Pasta Primavera. Very large portion with delicious veggies. The side salad was ample and very good as well. The service was excellent. Prompt and very friendly. Thoroughly enjoyed our experience.
