Atmosphere was really laid back, so enjoyed that. Other than that, not a good experience. The waitress had her hands all over the food, we waited at least 20 minutes for the check once everybody was done eating and plates were stacked. She was just waiting on other tables and paying us no attention. The hash browns were soggy, home fries were huge hunks of potatoes that tasted old and disgusting, French toast was ice cold but had a good flavor and probably would’ve been great if hot. Definitely not going back.

I eat here every time I go to the beach the breakfast is the best at a reasonable cost ,my wife had the blueberry pancakes and they were excellent, we came back for supper and I had the fisherman platter and my wife the crab cakes , not the crab cakes we are use to but everyone has their own recipe. Wait staff was excellent

You go here to get good food made and delivered by hard workin' folks that provide excellent service. Damn yummy fare whether you're getting ready to go frame a house or go home and watch The Price is Right and enjoy every burp. We'll be back.

I've been eating breakfast here since I was a child every time I come to Morehead City. Food has always been great. Waitresses are always cheerful and friendly. I've never had to ask for a refill. They're always on top of it.IMO Best breakfast in MHC.Parking: Limited parking in front, but they do have additional parking behind the building as well.
