Nice spot in downtown Morehead City with great food good variety, great service and an awesome bar. The food is not your standard bar food, they have unique items and a variety of types of food. Full bar, TVs to watch sports, etc... definitely worth the trip!

Naomi was very pleasant. Kept our drinks topped off. Food was hot when brought to the table Such a comfortable environment. Will definitely be back.

Promise Land is a Destination Have To when visiting Morehead City. Nestled in the heart of downtown, PLM is right where you need to be. The restaurant offers brunch, lunch, dinner, and has 1000s of options of wine and local beer on tap. Did U mention the full bar in the back? PLM hosts a Wine Club and a Trivia night! The service staff is super sweet and the food, yummmm. Secretly, I really wanted some TVs in the front to watch in addition to the scrolling tap menu while we waited for our party to arrive. All in all, PLM is fantastic!

I can't believe I've lived in this area all this time and haven't known about this place. Excellent food! Really cool atmosphere and the service was really good. I had the yellow fin dinner special and she had the short rib sandwich. Both really tasty! Also great wine selection. Definitely worth the visit.

We attended the September jazz wine pairing dinner. There were 4 course each paired with a different wine. The food and wine were excellent. During the dinner, a local band, Moonfish, played a variety of songs. They were fantastic, adding to the charm of the evening. This was one of several wine pairing dinners we have attended at Promise Land, and they have all been exceptional. I would highly recommend attending a future event.

Terrific place. I had the deviled eggs, which were to die for, and the shrimp burger (without slaw, I hate slaw) and fries. It was all delicious, piping hot, and well-presented. The service was fantastic, too. I will eat here again.

Flat cokes :( Tuna taco was good. Hamburger was unseasoned, gray, mushy - just weird & I couldn't eat it. Chips were cold. Fries were ok. Menu seems too big for what they can handle. A one & done for us.
