Social Q smoked us a Turkey for Thanksgiving last year. It was amazing and super convenient.Yesterday 6 of us went for lunch and goodness gracious was it good. I highly recommend anyone looking for some good BBQ to give them a try.We will be going back.Photo is of the Brisket Grilled Cheese.

Hands-down, one of the best barbecue I’ve had in North Carolina. The staff was funny and very helpful. The food speaks for itself and even the chicken bites. I’m not a fan of chicken thighs, but I will eat these every time.

Great Carolina bbq. Had the brisket plate and it was delicious and filling. Outdoor seating, only, as far as I could tell. It wasn't cheap, but I think this is the price of doing business in BBQ-land. Two thumbs up!

I had the brisket with beans and mac and cheese. The brisket was super salty almost inedible. The beans were ok and the mac and cheese was quite spicy. My wife got the pulled pork and it was ok. Service was ok. Maybe the brisket was a one off mistake but I was not impressed.
Side of the road BBQ place with outside seating. This is BBQ the way it was meant to be cooked. Took home a pound of brisket and it literally melts in your mouth. This place is a gem for sure!!

We did the "Whole 9 Yards" catering package for our wedding, and it really was a touchdown! Everyone told us that this was, by far, the best food that they had ever had at a wedding not only because of the taste...but because none of the meats dried up. We were able to customize our order a bit, and get vegetarian mac n' cheese, since we have a few vegetarians in our group. Trust us when we tell you that you will have *PLENTY* of food for your event...you may want to even have to-go boxes ready to go for the whole crew as well!

First time stopping by Social Q. I got the 3 meat platter. Pork, brisket and ribs. Everything was fantastic. Really liked their side of sauce. Baked beans were great. The rice pudding was on point.

Brisket was 5 stars for taste. Very tender and juicy, but portion size seemed a bit small for the price. Loved the house sausage too. Mac & cheese was ok but seemed like an ingredient was missing. Only outdoor seating with no heaters so it too cold to dine.

This barbecue was outstanding, especially the chicken! We almost stopped at another place up the road but we’re so glad we held out for this one! The meats and sides were all delicious and the lemon pie was great too! We are only in town for a little while but we are already talking about going back for more chicken! ☺️
