Service and atmosphere are great, and the quality of food was descent too. However, you may want to consider something else if you're hungry. Got the oyster basket for about $30 and got mostly basket and paper liner...5 small oysters and 10 fries, and a warm beer. I left, still hungry.

The bad - Sat immediately, beer 35 min later, food at 45 min. Never saw the waitress again.

The food here is fantastic. Great place to dock up along side and walk to or just go for lunch or dinner. This place has the best service in all of Morehead City and has a true beach bar feel with views of water. Every time I'm in town, I make sure I visit this place and I am never disappointed.

Restaurant was crowded but service was good once we were able to put drink orders in. I got the veggie sandwich and chips- which was good. Everyone else in the group seemed to enjoy their meals and drinks. Views and atmosphere were great. They did have a 20% gratuity already added, which they told us upfront and a 4% credit card charge, which we weren’t informed about. They did not have baby changing tables in bathrooms.
This is our I think 4th summer here. This place never disappoints! Always great food!!! Plus the view!

Our go-to for a casual dinner when its nice out. Love the laid back atmosphere and relaxing water views. Food is always consistently good. Tuna nachos and the buffalo shrimp wrap are my staples

Got seated and sat for 15 mins and got ignored and didn't even get offered drinks. Not even packed. Ridiculous lol
I’ve always wanted to like this place. The first two times I tried, we walked out after 10 minutes and had yet to see our server. But I’m no quitter so we tried again.
Today we went for lunch. Beautiful sunny day, sitting on Morehead Cities stunning waterfront with my incredible wife. The ambiance was spot on.
Server showed up promptly. Food and drinks came out fast. I had the “catch of the day” quinoa. The catch was yellowfin tuna. My wife had a quinoa bowl too but a vegetarian version. Both were incredibly tasty. The mandarin oranges gave it a sweetness that excited my palate. Really good. They were hitting on five stars for the food and atmosphere. But the service was once again lack luster.
When we finished our cocktails, our glasses sat empty on the table for what seemed like forever. We had to ask another waitress for water and for another cocktail. Didn’t understand because it wasn’t that busy. This place has potential if they can get the service issue sorted out. Crazy. I just don’t understand it.

8.25 for a draft beer is just silly. With tip that's 10 dollars for a beer...no other locals I know are willing to Pay that. There is a bar in eye sight that you can get one for $4 ...Staff is awesome though!

I found this place in May. I'm always looking for a place to stop after a day of kayaking. The bartender is very professional and goes out of her way to make you feel welcome. My new favorite spot because of the bartender. I have been sick since early June and today was my 1st day back, Aug 10. The bartender came over after I ordered my food and told me a new bartender did not add a drink to my card the last time I was there and it was not my fault but I owe them for a drink. I have no idea it has been about 8-9 weeks, I normally pay cash and had paid my bill. She could be correct and probably is because she has a great memory. But I don't remember. I usually get the same thing and same drinks everytime. But as a business owner myself I can't imagine telling a client you owe me $11 for a drink our bartender didn't add to your bill 2 months ago. I quietly made sure it was paid with no drama. Long story short they have plenty of customers and they wont miss me.

We were seated upstairs where the views are fantastic. Lots of choices on the menu. I had the Ham, Turkey, and Swiss grinder cold with potato salad. Food was great and service was friendly.
Parking: They validate ticket for free parking.

Service was extremely poor, it was almost like the staff was annoyed we ate their because they were busy they at 4 people at a small bistro table big enough for 2 and when I asked for a bigger table that was open and no one was sitting at they said our party size was not large enough for the table with seating for 6.

Yellowfin has such a cool vibe! The views are wonderful and the food and drinks are the best! Best of all, you can pull up in your boat!
