Tight Lines is one of my favorites in Morehead City. The staff, food, and drinks are all too notch. There's a big outdoor area for those who prefer the outside too. They have it all! Go check em out!!!

So it’s not very often when you go to dinner at 6 PM on a Wednesday night that a bar brewery is empty. A local person suggested this restaurant and I should’ve known better after I walked in and there was not one patron. The odd part was the service still was not good considering I was the only person in the restaurant. I ordered the seafood risotto. It came out very fast and under 10 minutes, which tells me that the rice was premade not really what I was hoping for I would say this is a hard pass and would never go back again. The good news is the chocolate milkshake was amazing.

Went to happy hour with a group and was pleasantly surprised with the food! I was expecting typical pub fare, but ended up getting the ahi tuna nachos and they were outstanding! Service is great - our waitress was very accommodating with our picky orders and relatively large group. Cosmos were delicious.

Great experience for lunch in the middle of Morehead. Food is excellent (get the crab dip). Staff is highly attentive and accommodating. Mixed drinks were made well. I'll be back for sure.

Went to Tight Lines for my birthday—now my favorite spot—and our server, Jack made it unforgettable.

Jack fought off a rabid raccoon while taking our order, spotted a puppy heading for the street and sprinted into traffic to bring it back, came back covered in peanut butter with a birthday present in hand, didn’t explain a thing, and still got our food out perfectly on time. Best birthday to date. 5 stars.

I've never had Ceasar's salad with a dijon mustard, mayo and lemon juice base. If that sounds good to you, have at it! It tasted alright but I'm not a fan of dijon mustard and it was not what I expected in Ceasar dressing. For 6 dollars the milkshake was a bit puny but it tasted great!

Great beers and apps! My friends and I go fairly often. Only reason it's not five stars is because their entrées aren't the greatest.

Update: Used to love this place, but it’s been pretty bad for the past few years. The beer is never cold and the food is hit or miss. I go for trivia or someone’s birthday party and I typically choose to eat before I go now.

We placed a to go order tonight to try something new while in the area. Crab cake was super dry! It was our 1st time and we have never had a crab cake like this. Also, all our burgers were well done when we ordered medium. Not bad just not what we asked for. After spending so much we expected a bit better no offense.

First of all GET the Southern Gentleman burger!!!!! The Chef knows exactly what he is doing! That is the best burger I have ever had!!!!!! Not enough exclamation marks in the world!!!!! Sidenote ask for extra collards!!
Emily, our server, has been Amazing!!! She is so knowledgeable and sooo cool and friendly. She made us feel right at home!! Their beers are great too! Definitely will be back!!!!! AMMMMAAAAAZZZZINGGGGGGGG!!!!!
