We stumbled upon this restaurant and loved it so much we went back the next day! The decor is so fun and interesting! Every nook and cranny is filled with something, you can walk around and see it all.
Oh yeah, the food - it is so so good! I got the baked potato with pot roast - I could only eat half of it and leftovers for the next day. The potato is huge and the pot roast was fabulous! My friend got the livermush sandwich and she loved it! She could only eat half too.

We had heard so much about Abele's but were afraid to try it again after a not so great first visit (around covid time). We decided to give it another chance and are so glad we did! The food was amazing! I tried almost every side on the buffet and they were so delicious! I had the flounder, hubby had the country ham. Both delicious. The price was very reasonable! We both ate for less than $25. We will be going back again for sure!

Me and my mom ate lunch there today while in Morganton. I have ate here before with my husband but since my mom lives in another county I thought why not eat here. The food was so good! My mom and the light eat bite size shrimp with slaw and a baked potato and I had the country fried beef steak with gravy and mashed potatoes with gravy. That was some great homecooking! And our waitress I can’t remember his name was top notch! He was so friendly and kind. Next time we will try...
